Yes, my thoughts were to create more opportunities for interesting builds.

Herald of Blood: I'm thinking now of a +x% to physical attacks, and +x-y physical damage to spells. That would get around the OP combo of Facebreakers or Doomfletch, while keeping the option open for spellslingers.

For the Blood Golem-Elemental: have it act like a zombie, summoned for x seconds. It's attacks provide life leech for itself and the player. If the player (not the elemental) kills a bleeding enemy while it's active, the duration resets.
If Herald of Blood can give "lifesteal/manasteal" instead of bleed im okay with it.
