Hi.

This is mostly a pool/shore build designed to farm beyond maps fast. The build scales initial hit and double dipping damage to try to clear the screen in 1 EK and then for the prolif to deal with the beyond comfortably.

We scale double dipping modifiers to deal with beyond easily. The big hitting prolif slays beyond mobs easy. Some of these modifiers include:

Fire damage
Elemental damage
Projectile Damage

We scale projectile speed to cover as much as possible of the screen.

Avatar of fire effectively cuts our damage by a large margin but the damage is convereted to fire, which then double dips the ignite. So it's not a huge hit to the build. Neither is it worth it for us to go out of our way to convert all of the physical damage.
But it is absolutely required to not shatter (With HH) and have sufficient scaling from elemental/fire.

Ascendancy

Elementalist is the perfect option for prolif and reflect immunity. The golem bonus is also huge and the travel nodes are great. Obvious choice.

Bandits
The first two bandits are interchangable. Resist is helpful from normal krait if you're struggling. And attack speed in cruel can be changed to alira (cast speed) this is what I would take with headhunter:

KRAIT/KRAIT/ALIRA

Vinktar for shock and leech with berek's grip. Conversion BIS.


Kiara's for stun and freeze.


Diamond Flask shock immunity for vinktar.


This flask slot is interchangeable aslong as you can get bleed immunity. You can use a ruby for further reflect protection. Quicksilver or Sulphur also works.


Interchangeable for Wise Oak (dmg) or Dying sun (Prolif AOE +2Proj)

The last jewel socket can be filled with a standard resist jewel if need help with gearing or inspired learning if you want to go full retard.

Jewel damage mods should be:

Increased Projectile Damage
Increased Damage
Increased Fire Damage

Weapon
Doryani gives a massive elemental damage boost which double dips. If you feel you have enough damage and want to go faster consider brightbeak or a rare dagger with spelldmg/crit/higher IAS. (20% of phys convereted to fire vaaled on Doryanis is BIS)


Helmet
EK projectile speed enchant is a must. Get high ES and resist/int.


Amulet
You can use both. Victario's Acuity is better if you have an Avatar of Fire Skin of the Lords. You can also travel to Avatar of fire and drop Overcharged on the tree if you want to use Victario's.

Rings
I use one ring for resist capping and Berek's Grip for 1% life leech. This is interchangeable with DMG opal ring/Taming for damage if you feel safe enough.


Shield
Spell crit for consistency. High Spell damage would be best here.


Gloves
Essence of Insanity for attack speed to shieldcharge.


Boots
Voidwalkers for pierce. Very necessary to clear comfortably. Leech enchant sustains our mana and helps with life leech aswell.


Belt
Not necessary but I only made this character because of headhunter. All sorts of damage mods we steal from monsters convert to fire damage leading to insanely high prolif ignites that one shot beyond bosses when they come out.

Chest
2b2r2g Skin of the loyal is very cheap damage with empower since it double dips both your empower and your ek for free +2. Getting a +1 skin would be a massive damage boost. Skin of the lords with Avatar of fire would be amazing for this build. If you want to use a regalia for defensive purposes. Fire pen is better than level 3 empower.

3 link vaal skills
Vaal grace is interchangable for Vaal Clarity if you feel like you have mana issues.


4 link auras
Herald of ash is nice extra fire damage and blasphemy flammability helps alot with tough beyond bosses, heavy resist maps or bosses in general.


4 link shield charge
Faster attack speed gems here aswell as free fortify. Needs to be in your insanity gloves.


6 link EK
Fire penetration is better than empower if you don't use skin of the loyal.


4 link CWDT
I like immortal call alot. Very overpowered. Flame dash for ledges.

3 link golems/disc

I leveled with lifesprigs firestorm until I could equip brightbeak and start shield charging and switched to EK nova.

-Cons
-Cant use biscos unless you get an Avatar of Fire Skin or travel on the tree.
-Cant MF as well as Vaal Fireball.
-Avatar of fire cuts damage so we have to scale even more damage than other builds.
-Avatar of fire can make it hard to find leech options
