What would the gem link look like for in a body armor if you aren't using/cant afford kaom? (but are using 30% more gloves)

Hey one question from my side as well (playing on Harb. SC): if i can't yet afford the jewels with max hp+fire dmg+area dmg and so on (currently have fire dmg and area dmg on all, but that's it, just two stats), is it worth changing over the max hp+fire dmg (about 10-15 chaos each)?

Is it worth doing this change? It means dropping ~90 area dmg for ~40% life.
Would it be a significant difference?

Another hardcore question

Flask management. I have no idea what 5 flasks to use and what stats they should have
Dont know if you know much about this build for hardcore
Right now i use
2 life flasks 1 with bleed 1 with freeze
Feel very unconfortable without 2 life
1 speed with speed affix
The unique with magic find for maps
1 with ruby and poison remove

Do i use other flasks with hard bosses and for traps and uber lab?
Cuz im not sure if i should have granite with affix...?


One of the stongest options. It acts like a normal life flask. Gives you some HP in 2.5 seconds. After that you are again full life. So if you are in a heavy fight, you must resist 3 seconds on your HP and you will be again full.



Increases greatly the chances to block. Block is one of the defence layes. So with shield and flask on I got 64% chance to block attacks and 16% to block spells. Only the damage that isn't blocked will affect me. I get also some 3000 armour, but is not so important.



I do press it toghether with Rumi. So I get 100% increased armour for long time, and physical reduction. With both of them i get 29K armour.



Ruby is the utility sufix bearer. Anti bleeding, or anti poisoning. Depends on map. It gives +6 max resist so RF hurt less, increasing the net HP regeneration.



In bad situations (i have to see HP droping) I use this too. +6 to max all resists will decrease all type of damages and in same time with ruby I become imune to fire.

What i feel sometimes in hardcore is that my hp keeps dropping and i feel i need instant hp recovery. Than another with that first flask is a good idea..
Than the ruby makes me feel why? Fire res is already high and deals not much to us. But the regen is still regen, wouldnt it be better to just have 1 more hp.
The build are way to tanky..it lacks damage, a lot of damage.
All the damage in this build are supposed to come from lifepool and jewels..the jewels (8 of them) are 100-400c a piece and you need 8..a Kaoms are ~500c.
It makes it a very expensive build, with no dmg.
The prices are affected by Harbinger League being a league with many lifepool builds.
Find a build to the same price with 4x the damage instead.

I went ahead and got the Kaom's. I was still wearing my Tabula so resists obviously still fine. Im still only 64 and not going RF till 70. Levled using Sunder and a Warchief totem. Sunder is so OP that even following the RF skill tree guide and without a single point in Physical nodes I still mow everything down.

Someone changed Pohx build into this at HSC? I'm currently doing t13-15 without any problems with ~100k dot unbuffed (and no helmet enchant) and think if its worth to go for this one? Sometimes i feel like i lack of the damage on higher tier map bosses, or its the same problem? And what about defenses? I have 9.9k life already without str rolls on gear, but few thousands more life wouldn't make a big difference when you get hard hit spikes at T15-16 maps? So that sweat heal from Berserker is so nice.. Someone can share their experience on high tier maps with this?

Alright hit 68 and made the switch. Im at 828 str and 6900 life. I know my gear kinda sucks but whats the point of playing if you start out with uber BiS t1 rolls on everything? I laughed my way through Merciless Lab at 68 so obviously my gear is decent enough to start mapping. I think I will be like 12 lightning resist short but I can always just throw it on a jewel since no way I can afford life % with 2 damage stat jewels anyways. Also I haent much on the Scion Life wheel so I think my Life will be good for early tier maps. Still have 60 chaos left so that means I can try crafting Gloves/Helms twice but dont know if I wanna do that yet.
