[3.1] SHAPER Kill __ 14675 HP___7000 HP regen_Tanky Righteous Fire 1 million+ DPS

I've found on beta that spell totem - RF - ele focus - Burning works quite well, all the way up to the point where you can transition into self cast RF:
„I don't give a fuck if it was his tenth anniversary with his goddamn neckbeard...“
„If they think I'm going to let them sweep this pizza guy thing under the rug...“
No mod action. Business as usual.

ou can also level up as melee no problem. Sunder, grab life and end charge nodes, path close t everything important. I havent tried a SR/CwC/FS setup yet, but im having no issues leveling as melee and buying a new white 2h Axe or Mace every 6-10 levels and using the 40-50% phys vendor recipe on it.

I also made a second guy at level 1, killed hilloc and then stole the onslaught support gem. having that linked to main skill is awesome for clear. I didn't find any move speed boots till level 30, but I had onslaught all the time and that's a flat 30% move on its own.

Ill have to try the SR combo out though. it probably makes for a better boss kiler than sunder and given all the life and strength on the tree its pretty probable you have 1500 or so life at level 30 with shit gear.

What about curses, currently using flammability, but I see you using enfeeble. Is it not too much of a DPS loss?
Thanks

Since you probably cant start with RF, when should I transition into the build?

For me leveling is better with enfeeble, but as you are at a point where loosing 10% exp is no problem then flammability is the way to go.
Thanks for the nice guide!
Was looking for a build to test on Beta after the wipe and descided to try this one out.

First my leveling experience in the fresh 'league' felt bad. Leveling was slow till I could sustain RF.
Well, since yesterday evening I am good to go and I need to say its big fun.

Far away from goals though, more like 400 strengh and 5.3k life so far.

Doing level 5 maps actually. In boss-fights I need to port out often, as I am still getting much damage.

So, my question is regarding survivability and the general defensive means of this kind of build:

Did I understood right that we ddo not leech with RF? So, I take it, it's our regn that keeps us alive in addition to life potions (you named that unique one I still need to grab). So, the more regn and surely pure life I get, the better will be my survivability?
Yes, you got it right. The regeneration is what keeps us alive. You add bit by bit regeneration till you get to impresive values.
okay, thanks for your answer. Level 71 currently, bad equip so far, feels hard to sustain damage currently. Just got killed by trash in a mesa :)

I am looking forward to it though, I am sure this will rock with better equip.
I saw people using scorching ray in Doon with a spell totem in here and wonder, wouldnt this trigger EE and therefore reduce overall Fire damage?

Also, wouldnt the damage provided by LvL 30 Iron will be very nice to just put RF into doon?

You mean like this? Is the subject of last 2-3 pages. Is better to put Spell totem + SR + ele focus in doon, not only for the SR damage which is pritty good it self, but also for -24% fire resist debuff that will do to bosses especially.

RF is not getting boosted by Iron Will. Both RF ans Iron Will are boosting spell damage from other spells.
Btw, on Beta, it's not Increased Burning Damage anymore but Burning Damage (with more multiplier). The Multiplier seems to be the same as for concentrated effect. At lvl 18, both gitve 52% more damage.
