This is the Bringer of Rain variant based on "The Warchief".

The Warchief - Ancestral Warchief

I am not playing this guy this league but have setup my old character in standard with my gear for reference, so feel free to import "Corosoo - Standard" to check it out.

Combine at minimum these:
Facebreakers + Lycosidae + Meginord’s + Warden’s Brand + Deidbell + Tabula + Wanderlust

Keep in mind that Lycosidae gives you "Resolute Technique", so don't get RT until you are ready to switch out of the shield.

Skills & Tree
Spoiler

Shield charge + ancestral warchief + faster atk + melee phys. damage + added fire + iaoe/conc

For the tree get all STR and DMG nodes. Forget resists and Life.
With this setup shield charge should one-shot most everything (except bosses) all the way to Merc Dry Lake.

When to switch to Blade Flurry I leave up to you. There's already tons of info out there, so do some research. I don't like cuddling and hand-holding ppl so much.

Useful list of items to consider for leveling:

Face breakers
Deidbell/Goldrim
Lycosidae
Meginord’s
Wanderlust
Tabula
Warden’s Brand
Blackheart
Le Heup of All
Gifts From Above
Kaom’s Sign
Praxis Paua Ring
Mutewind Seal
Karui Ward
Daresso’s Salute
Extractor Mentis
Pyre
Carnage Heart

nice work keep it up!
Appreciated homie! )
Can you maybe give some thoughts on why you go with Berserker over Chieftain?

Seems like they both end up with decent damage yet Chieftain seems a little bit more safer.

thx for your "chief"-builds! great work.
what would you prefer: starchief or rainchief?
(especially keeping doing guardians and shaper in mind)
i would say, block (50%) and evasion (+10%) is a big pro for rainchief, isn't it? or is shocking capability of starchief so much better for game play?
(i already have a high-roll 6-link starforge and a non-legacy fb (799%))

Honestly, I dunno anything about Chieftain. I just was just playing guggelhupf's build and wanted to use a Bringer of Rain and was lucky enough that now Path of Building exists.

I imagine Chieftain can work just as well. I welcome you to try it yourself in Path of Building. Should be a matter of minutes to see what the difference is.

You're welcome! And thanks for the kind words ))

So, each has their advantages...

Rain can use Shield Charge which is really nice for movement. I don't like Leap Slam as much. Rain also has 3 totems, which is very useful for breaches and things like that cuz you create a triangle and stand inside and basically all the waves of mobs crash into your totems. I like that a lot! The blocking as you said is a big big pro too. It took me quite a bit to be able to reach decent survivability with Star. Hence why I could NOT use BoR with Star. Without a shield and with a low life pool, it was just too squishy. Star is a much more dynamic build to play. The totems attack faster, and it also has a more stable high dmg output, as it shocks a lot of the time. Rain can only shock when you drop Vaal Lightning Trap.

If you haven't done one yet, I would say go Star, cuz the BoR build can be much more expensive since the legacy items will always be taunting you to get them ;) With Star, the most expensive thing is the Star itself, which is about the same price as Tuko's and the Kaom's. But if you want you can also do BoR non-legacy. That's how I farmed Uber for a long time...
