Hi! After building a successful leaguestarter and making some currency I decided to go all in and build the CI variant of your build.

I think I am too far invested to change to your new one, but if it is better I will try my best.

Can you take a look at my character and see what is the most efficient way to change over? I am new to the game and don't understand much yet.

Hey Goldberg21, if you want to stick with the old guide you now should get a second HoWA for more INT and the dual wield bonus. Jewels can help you to fix your resists.

Or just remove Discipline and use Herald of Thunder instead. With currently 12k+ ES you can deffinitely do that.
Shapers Touch are also very nice to fix your damage problem, you can easier get opal rings (without accuracy) then.

Hey...thx for ur build...spent the last couple of days following it and now you've obviously reworked it...is the older version with CI so bad? Coz I really wanted to try it and knwo i dont know if its worht respeccing to ur new build...

edit: Or could u say some things about how and why u changed the build? So maybe we can understand the pros and cons compared to old build and then some of us can decide wether we want to respec...anyway a link to ur old build would be nice...keep up the great work

Hey Kromoe, well 1 big nerf to this build was the nerf to vaal pact in 3.0 (cannot instant leech ES anymore). People who want to have instant leech have to play lifebuilds now, which is really bad for HoWA due to the fact that INT scales (%)ES.

A big "pro" of the new version is that you have like 5k+ life (for instant leech) AND flat ES from gear (which scales with all your INT). Thats like 1-3k ES.
Instant leech and a eHP of 7k+ (and MoM if you want) makes you able to facetank almost everything again, even shaper balls.
With the new belt called "soul tether" you can leech both to your life and ES.
Another "pro" is that you can use Herald of Thunder + Wrath instead of Discipline + Wrath now.
You also dont need a shield anymore, better take 2 HoWAs for more damage ("dual wield" gives you 10% more attack speed).

The only "con" is that your eHP goes down from 12k to 8k (+MoM).

So u saying basically ES is weak coz u cant leech life instantly anymore...bad against leech enemies i guess...

On a scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is strongest, would u rate ur ES and ur Life Build for me so i can decide wether respeccing is worth it?

The new version has way more damage and is safer (yea, because of the instant leech).

However its hard to say it in numbers... I would say the CI version is a 4,5/10 and the new version is a 8,5/10 .. maybe even 9/10, its really good :)
