[2.6] LL PF Crit EK Nova (Probably the best EK Nova build out there)

Not really sure if I am missing something, but with the points you have in your trees where are you getting the jewel 40 dexterity to put it in a spot from?

First, i'd like to thank you for this build, it's probably the funniest one to play with ! :)

As i'm following your guide, i feel like i'm hurting a wall now : what should i aim for ? My gloves are not the best, but i'm only 4k ES, and wondering where to find some more.

running a mana potion for now, and will probably get mana regen on my other ring for smoother gameplay and upgrade my glove, belt and shield for more ES

You don't need to allocate 40 dexterity for the jewel to work. Unallocated points count as well.

I can't tell you what you should improve on your character, since i can not check out your items/skilltree.
Go to your Profile - Privacy settings - Hide Characters tab <-- Uncheck the box (Don't hide)

Stats you need on a dagger: 30-50 crit implicit, 60+ crit for spells, 40+ spell damage.
Other adds in order if importance: Critical multiplier, Cast speed (misery essence), xx-xx elemental damage to spells.

Looks good so far!

Your mana won't be an issue once you get an enchanted boots & Vinktar flask.
Regen won't help, since the build would require 600+ manaregen/sec. Your mana comes from leech.
I'd rather go aim for cast speed & resist on rings. (Flat mana helps tho! Try to get ~250-300 unreserved mana.)

You need to work on your flasks m8. Shock immun, freeze immun & Vinktars.
Also you should ascend into Pathfinder. :P

Your next upgrades should be a 21/20 EK and Cast speed, resist, flat ES + crafted ES% rings. (maybe with mana)

Hi just wandering how much it hurts the build to run biscos? I've been running it for a while with mf boots but i'm hitting a wall and only have 4.6k es.

So idk why, I was bored and decided to roll a SSFHC character (I never play SSF or even HC) and for whatever reason I also decided to play crit EK.

I'm almost at merciless and it's going pretty good. I was planning on going Raider because I thought that this asc had generic damage modifiers and attack/cast speed but actually it only has attack damage and attack speed on top of the cool frenzy/ailment things.

So I guess I'm gonna roll Pathfinder. Now, the issue is LEECH. I'll eventually get an Atziri Flask, that's not too hard, but I don't see myself getting a Vinktar's, let alone the correct version (phys to lightning).

What would you suggest me? Straight up life leech support in the links once I get an unethical 6L?

Yeah, i'd advise using LL gem.
This build is highly gear dependant, so the experience won't be the same as if you were playing normal softcore tho.

Sacrificing a link also helps against reflect. Shit hurts.

Bisco's is fine for general mapping.
If you used chayula's before stun can be a problem tho.

2. Why not use Faster Casting gem vs. Increased Critical Strikes?

Hey!

1. Depends on your stats really.
120+ crit chance & 40+ spell dmg should be the bear minimum you have on your dagger tho. That stuff costs like 10c (divinarius costs even less). Crit multi is the 3rd stat to aim for.

2. I like reliable crit. 66% crit chance with diamond flask up means you crit almost 100% of the time. Clears better, freezes everything and generates flask charges faster.
