why you dont use phy to lighting instead of added lighting for example ?



/E: if i see it right you only have 40% conv, so still 60% phy

and only 30% phy as lighting ( maybe 30 more as cold with Toh )


so with phy -> light you have 90% conv + ~30% as extra lighting dmg, it should be lower tooltip but with all the lighting pen from flask/tree the extra 50% conv should be better or?

Does less damage - I lose 2k top end lightning damage switching the gems so even counting the pen, etc it is less damage overall

As for the conversion, it just simply doesnt out damage the other gems. But yes you can reach 90% conversion with p2light + winter spirit, and technically 100% if you use the conversion vinktars

I mean if you're confident in rolling skyforth and decent gear at the start of the league, go for it... Otherwise I wouldn't roll this to start. Maybe a life based like Toma_Hawk's since it isn't as gear dependent to start and you can use Rat's with whatever life/res shield instead of a spell damage one, but you do still need to get decent gear for any wander to be 'good'

And yeah its good for chimera, face rolls all the bosses

It's possible to play a CI wander from league start if you really know what you're doing. You can play without Skyforths for a long while until you can afford them, but if you don't know how to build on the cheap it's best to avoid this until you gather up some exalts.

Hey Bro, what do you think about my wand? i don't have the flat phys. but have spell damage + weapon ele dmg. rolls, compensate or is better craft/buy other?

I've no problem making lots of currency early league, i just want to know if it's worth to play wanderer if i aim to kill chimera, or another build would reach end game content faster.

Uh, that will probably work to start, but if you go phys, you really do want a good phys wand. Otherwise stick to pure ele and drop winter spirit/tempest blast.


is an example of a starter pure ele wand.


You will ideally want t1/t2 flat lightning + one other good prefix at least (Spell damage%, flat fire/cold, high wed%) and then you can master craft either spell damage(44 max) or wed(21 or 22 max). The other thing about pure ele though is to shatter you'll need HoI which means not empowering your wrath/disc if you stick to CI. Lowlife though makes the best use of all the elemental aura's and really lets ele wander's shine

any tricks i should look out for at the start of the league? Some uniques you like to use during first week?

For example how do you shock till you get a vinktar?
