[3.0]Wild Strike. Facetank content with 1.9M dps. All maps, all Guardians and Shaper. Videos inside.
" It's up to you when you want it to do something. Higher level does nothing for immortal call. Only golem is affected. Currently lvl 89. 7k life and ele weakness capped with 169+ all res. No devotos with any useful enchantments on the market and i had no luck getting anything good myself. I was dying much more before i got kaom so that was the best investment i did for 90 chaos. 5500 life or something before with rare 6l astral plate. Managed to 6l my Ngamahu so i could use kaom but it took 1000+- fusings. Can't remember exacly. Took a whole stashtab or more of corrupting rare gloves to get ele weakness on hit. Found a Taste of hate i sold for 240 chaos. Bought this one for 180 chaos after i changed my mind and wanted it back. Put fortify in my main 6l. Not having it in there was just getting me killed by anything and everything. Melee physical support gem is only affecting the melee part of the hit anyway. Not the elemental stuff. " You are very wrong about the Melee Physical gem. You lose almost a third of your dps by leaving it. The way it works is that it's 49% more of the melee hit that is then converted to elemental damage wich is then multiplied by Elemental damage with Attcks gem, Elemental Focus gem and the elemental nodes in tee. It's actually the second best gem for the build just behind Elemental Damage with Attacks gem. If you take all the life nodes before going into the dps nodes you have over 5k hp at lvl 70. Thats enough for up to tier 12 maps. Probably should have done that instead of taking dps nodes too early. Would have saved me some trouble. No doubt about it. I never tried those other flasks as i had some q20 granite and basalt left over from leveling my summoner.
I don't think i am wrong about melee phys gem. I checked with path of building and it is only affecting the melee hit of wild strike as i wrote in my previous post. You can see this for yourself by selecting wildstrike going into your wildstrike link with melee physical gem enabled and toggling between fire hit and fire explosion, lightning hit and lightning bolt, cold hit and icy wave. It does not do anything for the explosions/waves and bolts. Edit: I never even checked the wiki article. It says the same there https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Wild_Strike supporting Wild Strike with Melee Physical Damage Support will increase the melee hit's physical and converted damage, but will not increase the damage of the secondary elemental effect. " What I meant was that Melee Physical gem is better than you think. I would drop Added Fire/Ruthless or Ele focus before dropping it. Eventough it only affects melee, it's still melee that is the initial damage that gets converted, so the more melee damage, the more elemental damage there is to scale with gems and passives. Nope melee phys is good. I put it back in my main link.
In a few days 3.0 is here and we might get some new gems that work well with wild strike. I see that you already mention ruthless something which i assume is a gem in beta. From the patch notes:
Wild Strike now grants 100% conversion of Physical damage to either Fire, Cold or Lightning. Wild Strike's Lightning now chains 400% more quickly. It was already 100% right? the faster chains are nice but nothing special. You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

Some nerfs that affect us:
Weapon Elemental Damage Support has been renamed Elemental Damage with Attacks Support. It has been reduced in power at all levels, from 40% to 35% at gem level 1, up to 54% more Elemental Damage with Attack skills at gem level 20. This is 6% less damage compared to current WED. The Ascendant's Berserker skill now grants 20% increased Attack, Cast and Movement Speed if you've taken a Savage Hit recently (instead of 25% increased Attack and Cast Speed if you've taken a Savage Hit recently). Nerf but not a build breaker. This change may be interesting? added cold instead of added fire perhaps? Added Cold Support and Added Lightning Support have been buffed, bringing them on par with the Added Chaos support gem. Added Cold Support now does 35.1% more damage at gem level 20. Added Lightning Support now does 17.5% more damage at gem level 20. You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.

The Ascendant is the ascendandcy form from the Scion, so its not the actual Berserker ascendancy.. no nerf for the class itself.
