Thanks! I'm really enjoying ED, my only problem is when playing with two of my friends, I feel like I tend to slow runs down due to the hp scaling of mobs and you need to cast contagion then ED before anything happens, unlike their EQ RF build, they just go thru packs easily but boring gameplay IMO.
Maybe I can increase my dps when I hit 100 lol, currently stopped at 90 since I made an aura bot for our party play, overall on solo, I have no problems at all, and safe build. I just hope next patch won't screw things up since I plan to make another ED again using your shadow guide :p Thanks again! IGN: flaxburn

I just finished reading the second manifesto for damage over time, and we will certainly have to rethink how to maximize DPS as an ED character. Looking forward to beta theory crafting already!

Any reason you go for the Written in Blood cluster over the melding cluster on the CI build? Just the 10 strength? Or do you not use the conversion jewel anyway so it makes no difference? And if not converting why take a hybrid cluster at all? Is it some unique interaction I am not taking into account?

I tried my first map today and I feel extremely squishy, so I'm not sure how to progress with mapping. Could you give me some advice? |

Any plans on updating this guide for 3.0? I have been itching to play ED for a long time and I like the witch more than the other choices.

Just recently started playing the game and I instantly decided to pick up your Hybrid build. Level 30 Witch and loving it so far. Made a few adjustments to the tree to suit my play-style so we'll see how that works out.
I'm curious if the build is still viable for 3.0. As you haven't mentioned an update (and since other authors of similar builds are saying that not too much has changed), I'm assuming it's still a pretty decent build and safe to follow. Cheers for putting it together and I hope to see it updated soon. :) |
