I messed around with the skill tree a little bit and ended up making one with pierce on the tree and a slower proj gem in the gloves. Check out my char "Dusty_T_Bird" and see what you think.

To be humble it's not worth investing in any pierce nodes. Kinetic blast is a AoE skill and literally blasts everything away.

Can you let me know what I should prioritize to improve my DPS? I know I should get more ES on some of the stuff but I've been doing fine in maps and trying to figure out how to raise DPS. My HO DPS with buffs (wrath, HoT) is only around 34k/33k for kinetic blast. Also, I do have a silver flask but don't have it equipped at the moment. In path of building, your fully buffed barrage dps is about 33% higher than mine (4m vs 3m).

enfeeble is mainly for bosses, because we can't curse the bosses with poacher's mark (also no need). Other option would be to get thunderfist gloves with ele weakness corruption.
What you can do about dps: By priority: 1. change the rings. They need at least 30% WED, 200 accuracy and 20-30 avg. lightning damage. 2. Get a shield with a little more ES and at least 50% spell damage. 3. Belt could use higher WED. 4. get crown of eyes with barrage enchant (attack speed/ damage are cheaper, +projectile is superexpensive). |

You realize that simply plugging a lightning damage to attacks vinktar gives you about 200,000 more dps on barrage right? So Path of Building claims anyway, this is probably to pen not being quite as amazing the farther you get into negative resists.

Oh indeed, the endgame bosses have 80% less curse effect. I always thought its 60%. Ok thats huge... But oh well, 3.0 is around the corner, maybe there will be changes to it.

Heyo guys.
Pls need some help.Im not satisfied with my damage.Can anybody tell me why is it so low?My kb dmg is not bad (just 25k but fine for mapping atm) but the barrage is shitty on single target sometimes.How many accuracy and crit chance needs to be fast mapping?Flasks have to be always ON for fast mapping?I have only 2exalt, no more currency atm. :D |
