Build Sounds interesting. I'll give it a go as a possible starter for 3.0 beta, since ES get nerved :)
Btw I see you are using Culling Strike, I strongly recommend to switch to Additional Accuracy. It is proven that a 20/20 Add.Acc has nearly the same effect as an Empower 3.
Hi there, yes additional accuracy seems even stronger than empower 4 when combined with culling strike. Check this out for Path of Building(import from pastebin option):

It is a max block/spell block pure life variant I made for a friend which is very strong in HC. I will use it as a template in beta with an onslaught SC variant.
Cheers
Hey Dupie, looks even more interesting then the OP-buid. Do you have, or plan to open a Guide for it? I'm planning to develop a modified Build based on it and I hate to take credit for other peoples work :)
Yeah I will be updating this guide during beta, feel free to use anything for your own guides. Cheers

Hey, keep it at level 1 as we will have over 50 mana/s which is more than enough. Cheers

Great build embrio.
I'm also testing Necromancer. I fell inlove last night with a new spectre i raised after killing act 5 boss. After killing him i went to the way point and raised some corpes. I summoned 3 winged demons with 4 wings. They totaly demolished the trash later on. They leap slam and leave a small fire patch after plus they also do a ranged skill. I would remove one of the support gems in your covenant and replace it with summon spectre. And also get the spectre node in the accendacy tree.

Why no melee splash? is it not good for leveling or anything?

I'm currently playing a similar build with MoM but not EB. I dropped a Covenant last night which is tempting me to give this take on the build a try. How do you recover es to keep MoM up in combat? I often have to pot to keep my mana and the effect of MoM up during mapping, but this isn't an option with EB. Or is this a non-issue when you have a large enough ES pool?

Melee Splash replaces Added Fire Damage for clearing.

Hey, do you think this build would be good for the 2 Week Mayhem SSF HC race?

SRS on its own is very nice for SSF because it will be good without any uniques required. But this particular version will not work as SSF. Too many more or less required uniques. I think there was a SRS SSF guide somewhere in the witch forum, should give that a read maybe.
Also for this build: Thoughts on swapping out Culling Strike for Ele. Damage with Attacks? Should be a big boost to SRS dps, even when losing the 10% cull.

Well, the league is going to be Mayhem, meaning tons of Breaches, Exiles, Strongboxes for the very high chance of getting uniques.
I'm pretty sure that I can start off with a typical staff SRS and then transition into this build if I get a Covenant and Severed in Sleep... And if I don't, the build with a staff or even a bow should still work out for mapping.
