How crucial is Ahn's heritage? Relying on the crutch of my shield right now to stay capped. (gear is on my profile) Other than that I feel like the build is solid, sadly only at 964str. taken it to almost 91 now and it's been pretty smooth.

" It's not needed at all, every piece besides the covenant is replaceable with rares, use a rare shield with strength+resists and 2 abyss jewels until you can run ahn's heritage or victario's charity/lycosidae with necro aegis. With this league and the strength of abyss jewels i would probably run the necro aegis variant or a nice shaped/elder shield. |

Im enjoying this build so far, so thanks a lot for making it.
However i have the fragility gems and the shield so charges are 0/0 but i still dont see the resistances % go up. Is it bugged? have it changed? or is it hidden. |

" it's 3% Maximum resist so your element resist max out at 78% instead of the regular 75%. it doesn't add any resist. |

I want to use Mon'tregul's gasp on HC. Can I make it work without dropping much defence?

" If you are following the HC guide then you can swap to mon'tregul's fine, however you will need to remove a 3 point jewel node and allocate those 3 into the block nodes(solidity). Downside is you will lose about 4% block and 1% spell block but gain a little bit of defence and QoL so I think it is worth it if you like the mon'tregul's or scourge option. |
