I wonder if Skeletons can be made viable with Femurs of the Saints ?

So main 6L on staff is still on SRS, zombies on the chest 6L, skeletons on spell totem for 4L in the baron.

Will this be fine?

femurs is a terrible item. and dedicating so many slots to so many minions means you end up with no gem lots left to other important things

If you want to go femurs use vaal summon skeletons + focus on zombies. Zombies compliment this build because it is easy to summon 4-5 zombies compared to 10-12 and they do a good job tanking for you. I have built zombie builds especially last league with femurs + mon'tregul's but they are zombies after all, I prefer them as meat shields because they are too stupid.

If you really want to go with a femur setup you could easily make a build work by going blood magic, vaal pact and 1k+ strength with baron for instant leech. Get some curses going on, possibly an essence worm ring for hatred, kaom's heart, zombies in femurs, srs setup in baron, spectres + minion life + duration + vaal summon skeletons somewhere else.

TLDR; Don't alter this build for femurs, build one from scratch and focus on zombies and use SRS in baron if you want.

I personally avoid vaal pact now because I think it's broken. Also as I focus on mapping I much prefer using ahn's heritage for onslaught.

I always encourage people to rework guides and trees to their liking, I see nothing wrong with the build here and it might be better suited for bosses, but worse at mapping. The overcapped resists with ahn's + onslaught is underrated for mapping which is why I don't like going necro aegis. If I was building around vaal pact I would go blood magic and get 9k life with kaom's heart and go +2 staff which worked really well for me in the past, but is much higher budget.

Played this in the beta. Loved it nice work!! Im a HC player though looking forward to the HC variation, will def be using this as a league starter :)

I would like to ask you what you think is better.


since SRS is a spell and is also classified as fire...does it get 42%+42%+18%=102% from this wand? And if so: is that maybe better than Severed in Sleep?
