All of the gem links are listed in the original post.
Looks pretty fun! Sorry if it was asked already, but what is the total cost of the build and also how fast is it to level? Kinda want to try it in the upcoming 1/2 weeks events.

2-3ex to get rolling with decent gear (5link). A little more if you want a 6link. Leveling is decent up until you equip obliterations, then it's very fast.
I've been using this for my first character -- I just recently started PoE -- and it has been working very well. To start mapping, you really only need a 4 link for BV, a 2 link for Immortal Call, another 2 link for Phase Run and finally an Essence Worm. This means that you initially can ignore the sockets on the essential gear pieces; you can get QotF and 2xObliterations for less than a chaos in Legacy atm and Essence Worm is like 2 chaos. From there on you can easily work your way up towards Devoto's, Atziri's Boots and Flask, Witchfire, some rares and voila, you can do T15 maps for less than 50 chaos total.

Some comments on the build:

* The Clear Mind jewel is an amazing damage source when running Mind over Matter and is really cheap as well.
* I think its better to approach the Shadow area from the south-west instead of the south. This means getting Reflexes instead of Survivalist (more evasion, less elemental resistance) and puts you into a position to grab both Vaal Pact (for 1 point) and Harrier (for 2 points) if you want to.
* At least with my current setup, its better to grab Will of Blades over Entropy in the Shadow area. And if anything, having a Vinktars should only favor Will of Blades even more. Though I don't know the ins and outs of damage conversion mechanics yet.
* The Quick Recovery wheel only gives 14% life. You can get 15% for 3 points by either filling out the Scion life wheel or grabbing the first 2 nodes in the Cruel Preparation section (also gives you some elemental resistance).
* Above the Sentinel node in the Scion area there are 3 resistance nodes that can be temporarily worth investing in if you're just starting out and haven't been able to max out your resistances yet.
* I initially struggled getting enough intelligence to wield my Obliterations. To fix this, you can initially grab 3 more intelligence nodes instead of getting the minion nodes when connecting in the Witch area.
* Getting a second Essence Worm with Hatred can help you level faster, but later you'll have to switch it out for something more defensive.

I like that you're enjoying the build and it's good to see someone trying out some variations on the skill tree. Unfortunately some of your comments may be misleading.

Yes it is, but you lose defenses by using it over a multiprop rare jewel.

Damage conversion Vinktar flask is significantly worse for damage than the added lightning to spells Vintar flask. Also, Will of Blades might give more tooltip, because DoT does not show up there, but it doesn't have the duration modifier on it, which is both essential for phase running through the lab and is a *Multiplier* on poison damage.

Quick recovery gives 40% mana regen and .8% life regen. For a non vaal pact MoM build, this is completely worth the 1% life sacrifice. Picking up vaal pact is a completely different build and is not worth it imo.

Lastly, pathing through reflexes is a viable option for getting (slightly) more evasion, although this difference is almost negligible. What you do end up doing with that route is spending roughly three extra skill points and pick up vaal pact, which you could do from my tree anyway if you really want it. This effectively removes 15% life from the build, which hurts. Also, survivalist gives +1 max cold res, which is huge for defense. This is much stronger than a little more evasion imo.

Thanks again for putting your thoughts down. Let me know if my explanations make sense. I've definitely considered all of these options before while trying to minmax a skill tree.

I have been playing this build for while now. I'm looking forward to 3.0 with this build. Is there anything that will significantly change in 3.0 with this build? Keep up the good work mate.

I'll be testing variations during the beta. With the new changes (and no patch notes), I don't know yet what will or won't work. Check out my stream at twitch.tv/itsmartini for live updates.
Was running Ubers to try and get my cyclone enchant and got BV duration. Is that at all decent for the build or is Damage/AoE enchant more effective?

I use his build and like BV duration for map clearing, but for Uber runs I like phase run or the smoke mine enchant
