How is ssf going for u guys/girls? ^^

I've got that stupid prophecy to kill a rare Sin Lord in the Ancient Pyramid and have run through it over 10 times. Very boring. I've given up chaining them, and run once before each map or delve session. The really could up the spawn chance for that or put them in the Maze map or something.

For once... I want less exalts and more of other stuff!

Can't fuse my damn carcass jack nor my 41% quality vaal regalias.

I'm in T15s but can't fathom doing guardians without a 6 link (without the fight turning annoying).

My survivability was so absurd on my Soulrend Trickster that I restarted in HC SSF. I've taken down red Elder and unlocked almost every non-unique map. I'm still missing one of the guardians, so no Shaper yet. I haven't crafted my endgame chest since I'm waiting for ilvl 86, but damage on my 5-link is still very solid. I got lucky with the Elder kill and picked up a Watcher's Eye with 20% chaos multi while using Malevolence, which helps.



I'm also absolutely hating the new league content. Most of the dream maps are super crappy indoor layouts made even worse by the blue garbage that cuts off your paths. All the annoyance of indoor maps plus massive amounts of forced backtracking or immediate kicks from the instance? Hell no. I load them, see if they're indoor, then turn around and immediately jump into the blue if they are. I'll play the 10% of outdoorish maps, but never again am I running one of the cancer layouts.

I finally hit 24 challenges for the new pet. It's neat. There's no way I'm hitting 36 challenges SSF, so I'll be done with the league as soon as something finally kills my Trickster. Good lord is this guy hard to kill on a minimal point and gear investment. I'm never playing another class again.

League has been a blast. My atlas progression was the smoothest so far and I have managed to remove all reds that got completed when getting my shaper orbs.

On drops I have been unlucky. I was wearing tabula till 96 and just yesterday I finally managed to get / link first item that was worth linking (ilvl 86 regalia).

In the end considering that I play in SC I think smooth atlas progression was more important than items.

I still haven't found the 4 Link recipe yet, and I've never been a fan of just spamming Fuses and hoping, so ... they're both 3L's for now.

And I've actually managed to find an Exalt, something of a rarity for me:

I killed Shaper, farmed some shaped Arid Lake, and finally got a chest with a high item level (87) in a level 83 memory with +3 drop levels. I got 30% quality on it on the second try, fused it in like a dozen fuses after an int/quality craft, then spent a ridiculous amount of various orbs and fossils trying to roll it until I finally hit something decent with a strength essence (the literal last thing I had to throw on it).

Half an hour later I finally got around to trying the Mastermind fight, which has apparently been heavily reworked since I beat her week one of Betrayal league. At some point my 6400 life and 1.2k ES disappeared instantly while I was killing Haku. I have no idea what happened. Was it a massive one shot? Was it a series of hits that did a total of 11k damage in 1/10th of a second (ghost shroud ES gain)? I have no idea, since POE's garbage at communicating information. Oh well. Guess it'll happen next time I fight her, too. Fucking great.

Anyway, the addiction has been fed and POE is uninstalled until next league. I hope that league sucks less than this one, since I won't have the fresh awesomeness of Soul Rend and Trickster to hook me next time.

Edit: If I can, I'm definitely going to start the next league a month or two late. Every single league is released as a steaming hot pile of garbage. Every. Single. One. Most get turned into something decent after a bunch of updates. I'm always burned out by then, so literally every damn league I'm stuck playing a shitty version instead of a decent one. GGG's obviously not going to stop rushing out steaming piles, so I guess it's on me to avoid them.
