[{3.5}] - [Clarity_Bot's] 15+2 Victario's Influence Aurabot
Alright, one final question that is sort of off topic for this build, but it is related to aurabots in general, I just made my first aurabot on standard after getting everything needed for my aurabot(I even got 2 enlightens for a cheap price on POEtrade somehow, XD,) and I am worried about something.
It is pretty much a common fact at this point that standard is much less popular than legacies, and no one likes standard, and despises standard players for some reason. Since aurabots are dependant on others, population of leagues like standard are VERY important for these guys. This makes me worried that I will have no one to group up with by the time I finish leveling, and finish up up a few tiers in mapping when doing my necro build, and I respec to my aurabot build when trying finding others to group up with for mapping/labs. Can any aurabots on standard detail their experiences with finding others to party with, and tell me if there are enough peeps on standard to get regular groupings with others in that league? Anecdotes are perfectly fine at this point. If not, I will still focus on this guy in standard, but I will be more cautious with him, and keep it in mind as a sort of warning sign for them, so don't worry about that, XD. Thanks for the help in advance! Really appreciate the helpful responses TC gave to my previous 2 posts on this thread. Last edited by marke34#5015 on Jul 3, 2017, 8:42:37 PM

" Finding maps in standard isn't too hard, you can find parties on the board or ask in global. Usually after playing with a few people they'll add you and invite you to mapping groups later. I actually for the most part just play standard because i'm not too interested in continuing Legacy. Last edited by Rangaeki_Break#2642 on Jul 6, 2017, 1:59:54 AM

Thanks for the help! I was actually planning on going standard for all my characters, I was never interested in those leagues where you really do not get that much added to the gameplay compared to standard in my experience, and the league, and your character is effectively over after only 3 months, or so of playtime, and it gets to moved to standard where "all the league characters go to die," and for "filthy casuals" where you effectively throw out the guy, and make a new guy, so you never get any good mains for very long, I just decided to say screw it, and just placed my characters on standard permanently, so I would not have to go through that stupidity.
Also, like you said, I really did not see much point to continuing legacies, XD. The economy on standard has also gotten pretty healthy over the years, so the prices for stuff even on standard is quite low now, league stuff may be cheaper, but not by a lot. It is sad that not many peeps play on standard, and everyone had such a low opinion of it, it's even been said that not even GGG cares about peeps on standard. Glad to see that you can still get some regular groupings with aurabots on standard, and that the population is not so low that it is impossible to get them, I can imagine getting your first few peeps as an aurabot before they friend you, and use you for maps constantly is going to be the most difficult part for aurabots since it can be VERY difficult to get others to use you unless they specifically ask for you, but after that, your life gets much easier, so aurabots just have a slower start compared to the others. BTW, I cannot help but look at the previous replies, he was correct, there ARE 16 auras in the game(actually 17, but I will get to that in the next paragraph), you wanna know what the best part is though? You got all 16 of the auras he mentioned on the guide already, so the title/the amount of auras shown on the guide should not be 14 auras, but 16 auras, you just miscounted the amount of auras, and said that there were 14 auras for some reason, even though there were 16 auras shown on the guide, XD, honest mistake though. BTW, I think you BOTH missed one aura on the guide that has been in the game, vaal grace, it gives you up to a 34% chance to dodge attacks without any upgrades to it, was that done on purpose, because it was not used enough, and there was not enough space on the gems section of the guide, or was it just an honest slip up? Was actually planning on putting an increased duration, and a vaal grace on my weapon instead of the whirling blades movement skill, but keeping the clarity on the ephemeral edge. XD. I might be stupid myself though. Thanks in advance! Last edited by marke34#5015 on Jul 7, 2017, 9:16:44 AM

" I actually don't have the slots available to run Vaal Grace. But the thing is, i don't necessarily count vaal skills or leer cast/dying breath into the aura counter because you don't need to run them. You can run this aurabot just fine without an animate guardian or vaal skills. So i don't really see a need to mention them. if i were to count everything then it'd technically be a 19 aurabot(leer cast, dying breath, vaal haste, vaal disc, vaal clarity) but those are optional auras and ones that won't all be up at the same time constantly. |

How do you level up?
|
|
" Uh, however, whispering ice, srs, flameblast totems, party play is ideal. |
|
Im doing your build right now (lv 69)
i suggest you to use zealot's oath and instead of whirling blades use flame dash+ reduce mana + eleron ring, this will greatly increase survivability. |
|
" Flame Dash is too slow. It's pretty much the same, it's meant to be a budget build so running Elreon rings would increase the cost especially if you wanted to make the rings nice with multimod. Running Elreon rings isn't too bad of an idea but if i did that, i'd need to run an unset Elreon for my main build. Might i recommend you look at the alternate gem setups i have posted. Furthermore, if you use Elreon Rings, using Shield Charge is more efficient at keeping up with players. Last edited by Rangaeki_Break#2642 on Jul 8, 2017, 5:12:11 PM

" I will try that but if you dont use eleron rings and zealots oath you become really squishy and if you cannot afford corus elixir you'll need to switch off victario's so you don't die from chaos damage. Resulting in decrease of aura's strength but increase of survivability, i still run 10 auras and enfeeble wich is fine and i got my solari armor untill i can afford shavvs. I came tp that conclusion after dying to silly things like chaos cloud dropped by some mobs etc. Another thing you can do is use leori ring to grwatly1 boost defense(while under 35% health attacks that you takr roll twice and worst is the result ) meaning if you run 50% evade chance like me you actually get 75% evade chance. |

" I mean, you do have Zealot's Oath with this setup. if you can't afford coruscating elixirs then idk man, it's like 4 chaos. Furthermore, what's your definition of really squishy? I have 9.2k ES, i don't think i'm that squishy considering i haven't really died. The build runs off Coruscating Elixirs, You either get used to using flasks or switch to shavs and if you switch to shavs might i recommend The Legend of Aura's guide for a shavs aurabot. It's really good! But yeah, if you die to silly things from lack of flask usage, it's your problem =/ |
