More power creep? More and more popular streamers/players are moving away from this game due to how shallow and easy it is becoming.

You say this, but the issue here isn't that the game is more shallow or easy. The issue is that those streamers and their followers(and most other players too) all play the overpowered flavor of the month meta builds. Builds which shouldn't even exist.
Thing is, these players are actually terrible players, and wouldn't be able to play the game with a normal non-meta build. These 'players' will complain the game is too hard when they try an actual normal build.
Normal builds(non-meta), if build right, can do up to t6-t12 mostly. After that the game is very VERY hard for normal builds. But still doable with enough player skill and gear investment.

Personally I've never played a meta build, and will never play one. I like playing the game in the way that it was supposed to be played, with normal builds. Current league I was doing t12-t14 maps with ease.

PS: You can already predict that when GGG fixes the vaal pact ES builds(meta) these meta builds players will complain the game is way too hard now. When in fact nothing changed, except for the fact that they cannot cheese most content with a meta build anymore. GGG has already announced this change!

Well, you're right and not. Listen carefully, Chris wrote some time ago that they are making balance changes to shift the meta. Yes, they are doing this intentionally. Overpowered builds/skills are intentional. Meta builds is something normal in their eyes. "I like playing the game in the way that it was supposed to be played" it never was supposed to be balanced. really mate, I am not making this up or trying to be intentionally bitter. You can find that information yourself. Its the developers who create this situation in the first place and we are being fooled around (well at least most of us).

Why do they do this? My guess is that they want to make this game approachable for wider audience, even for those who suck at these type of games. Thus where meta builds come in. They give a window for some people to achieve more, where in other circumstances they couldn't. In the end it is mostly about the business.

In the same amount of time that took to create act 4 they've created 6 acts instead. Can you call those acts at all? I have a feeling that they will be short, small and/or possibly low quality. I see many objects being reused, pretty much "copy - paste". I dont know how to feel about this. Guess that new skill gems will be another AoE orgy again, thanks to consoles.

Yeah, a lot, but at what quality?

More power creep? More and more popular streamers/players are moving away from this game due to how shallow and easy it is becoming.

I would have rather waited for good quality large acts added one by one over time and then difficulties being removed gradually than having these "acts" blurted out hastily like in a some sort of Chinese factory.

straight from the horses mouth. Quality is super important, and previously CW already said that the "copy pasted" monsters in the trailer are just place holders.
So nazi not only in Ukraine, but in Oriath too...

Good to see orb girls back, though modified and in bronze color :( Silver was better. Oh well, still better than those boring skulls and lion.

Now 10 acts... nice. I hope they are not 15 minutes long each.
I was fairly shocked by the news when I saw the trailer.

Now I am kind of having mixed feeling, I am wondering if anyone else is the same. Sure we get 10 acts, but if many parts are just reused content, it feels like a big compromise.

I mean compare the Kaom area in act 4 with the previous acts, it is very different to anything we have seen in previous areas. Now check act 6. Sure you could argue you take a different path and the colours/lighting is a bit different, but it's not really something new.

Does anyone else agree?
+6 to acts. (this is a buff)
I am impressed.
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.
THIS LOOKS SO SWEET

For those of you who can't wait for the Xbox version (like me)

For you PC only players, I get it, I truly do. I used to be PC forever and then since getting married and having kids, I've switched to console and honestly, I love it.

The good thing to take away though is, GGG is doing as much as possible to make sure all of us are happy. This little video proves that they are making great strides in both versions. The flask setup is SIGNIFICATLY better than it was before because they were thinking and actually playing the game. Most developers shoot it out without any real testing.

Also, look at the skill set up. Yeah, it might blow having to press the right trigger to activate the other 4 skills, but that's a great solution for a tough problem and I think people can work with it.

Like I said, think of all this stuff as change for the better. Give them a chance! They are really making a lot of people happy and doing a great job at it!
