What do you need insurance for when daddy govt will bail these fools out. You know all home builders are insured by .gov when building in risky areas? Home owners as well since flood, natural disaster and war isnt covered by insurance. It's essentially welfare for the rich (like bank bailouts) since homes on keys FL or costa mesa CA and other risky areas are $250-$400 a sqft starting. Skys limit in some places.

Risk assessment analysts that work for some of these insurance companies aren't always the best in the business. Someone like Trump could afford to hire experts who will tell him, you should buy and insure here, with a possibility of a payout. It's a gamble, but so is the stock market. That's exactly the type of hustling that Trump likes to make money on.

You can't run a quarterback sneak every play of the game. Going into the election, we knew Trump was willing to compromise to get to the goal. In the old thread, I mentioned it a few times as one of his strengths. There's a lot more going on here than just a simple change of uniform. Note Paul Ryan's sudden flop in the past week from "only one member of Congress wants the Wall" to saying the Wall will be fully funded and giving a timeline for the vote.

McConnell is being benched, because he is fumbling the ball again and again. McCain has been kicked from his "you need me to pass anything" spot. Too many of our elected leaders think we have an unlimited amount of time to keep discussing the same issues without doing anything about them. Trump doesn't think that way. The GOP can get on the train, or they better get of the tracks. The primaries will not be kind to the fence sitters.

As the Alt Left gets demilitarized and the MSM "Muh Russia" story continues to unravel, the investigation of the DNC and all its crimes will begin in earnest.

What's wrong with DACA and disaster relief? I would agree it would have been a better idea to just not have built there in the first place, but that's irrelevant at this point and not providing disaster relief would disproportionately affect people who can't afford to just rebuild or move on a whim. Even if you ignore the quality of life for those people I'm not really convinced just letting them get screwed over will be the best overall.

Almost done with Hillary's book, her list of excuses is even longer than the list of people she's had killed. I laughed and facepalmed many times. Definitely worth the money.
