What tree did u use for the 2nd video? You had 8.4k ES in the first video and 8k ES in the second. Which ES nodes did u remove and what dps nodes did u put points in?

I have dropped the 30 STR node at the bottom and picked up Crackling Speed, I've updated the tree link. The main reason why the ES dropped is probably due to the belt swap (new belt has less flat ES). You can actually get a much better belt than what I have, it's what I had at the time for testing purposes.

Actually, you just spouted more bullshit again. The tree you provided:
Level 91

only gives you 95 strength. How can you run a level 20 Ancestral Warchief (which requires 155 strength) on just 95 strength alone? You have some special cheat code or something? Perpetually lying as usual, that's what you're doing.

Nevertheless, I shall humour you and assume you can run level 20 ancestral warchief on just 95 strength.

As promised, here are screenshots to prove that lightning penetration > no lightning penetration.

Using the new tree and the gear that you provided (below) for your second screenshot of 72k DPS which did not have lightning penetration, here is the screenshot from Path of Building to verify that the calculations are of reasonable accuracy.

"

Your artifically inflated dps was achieved with: sulphur flask effect, Atziri's flask effect and ancestral warchief. Flask effects had to be manually keyed into Path of Building.

Screenshot is as shown:

The "average damage" reflects your tooltip DPS. Over here we can also see that your desperation to overinflate your dps artificially led to your cold res to be only 31% and lightning res to be only 17%. No wonder you simply walked past the ele reflect rare in your video!

Path of Building unfortunately does not take into account Marylene's Fallacy there it overinflated your actual DPS. We can however calculate it manually from the other figures it provides.

The formula will be:
(average hit damage/2) * non-crit chance * marylene's fallacy 40% dmg + (average hit damage/2) * ncrit chance * crit multiplier = (4500+28909)/2 * 0.3553 * 0.4 + (4500+28909)/2 * 0.6547 * 6.49 = 2374 + 70977 = 73351.

Now, there is of course slight difference in the calculated dps figures and your actual dps but that's to be expected as you did not even provide the correct tree to derive accurate calculations from. Nevertheless, we can see that path of building is at least reasonably accurate.

Now, we will use your old gear (below) with the same tree:

"
(OLD) My Current Gear:
Concentrated effect for bosses, increased AoE for mapping.

The resulting tooltip dps (with lightning penetration) and with the above artifical buffs would be:

Based on your own reasoning that the first example (73k dps example without lightning penetration) would already result in shaper having -3.8% effective lightning resistance, the effective dps would be 73351 * 1.038 = 76,138

The second example has 66322 tooltip dps with lightning penetration linked, which would result in shaper having -40.8% effective lightning resistance. the effective dps would be 66322 * 1.408 = 93,381

In conclusion, based on your gear and trees, the set up with lightning penetration would deal 22.6% more damage than the set up without. Yet you continue to insist on deceiving players with your illogical stubborn statement:

"
After the resistance reduction (which is NOT the same as penetration) is applied from the curse then the penetration (from our tree/flask) is applied, in this case 24% Lightning penetration would bring the Shaper's effective resistance on hit to -3.8%. This is where we get diminishing returns and the main reason why Lightning Penetration was dropped from the 6-link (which you can read about in the link above).

Welp i was going to consider this till i read the replys thanks for the warning guy whose name i didn't check.
I'm actually trying to build an assassin howa BF, following this build, I'll let you know if is works.
Honestly I don't understand this war against him, it's just a game and I think worth give a chance to this build to be tested from someone else.
As I said, I'll let you know if it works :)
Peace
What's up with this negative comments?
can't you F***ing test it yourself?
[Removed by Support]

cant you people appreciate the time he spend just to show this build to everyone?

1. Would you really want to waste time testing this failure of a HoWA variant when there are better variants of howa available?
2. He didn't spend time to show this build to everyone for your/their benefit. [Removed by Support] What I take offense at is that his slight loss of time will translate to a massive loss of time for those players deceived by his overinflated dps figures and attempting to replicate this suboptimal character. With his nonsense now debunked, they can at least now make an informed decision about whether to proceed.
3. I should also add that I wouldn't even have noticed this thread to begin with if not for the OP's rudeness and childishness in trying to put down other players' build threads.

Thanks for bumping this back up btw, this thread makes for a good laugh.

edit: apparently, saying that someone does something for the purpose of stroking their own ego (I'm not talking about anyone in particular btw GGG) constitutes for a personal attack these days.
