I'd try to downlevel your blood magic if you can make it work. I'm taking the templar reservation nodes, granted, but maybe you can make it happen with enlightens? I use a 17BM on my haste and that just barely fits. With my current setup (2 30 str nodes) I have just enough to use that and my 21 Anger.

I was under the impression that Pen was better than Added to Attacks but double checking the numbers, added to attacks is way better. Weird.

I'm really gonna miss the accuracy on my wand when I switch off it since I don't have much anywhere else. Oh well.

Attacks is almost always better unless the map has elemental resist or EE.

hey man, have a lot of fun with your build, thanks for putting together such an amazing work. 7 hours in today level the build from a bow build to this, feel pretty good after have dying sun. I'm at level 83 now, with 5k4 es, dunno if I could get to 6k :s, I did scarified a bit of damage to grab more es nodes in the trees since the char is too squishy with 4kish es and I dont like it. I did some of the breach lords, farm up to tier 13 with the build, clear speed is very fast, however the tooltips for my damage is 18k ish with 6 aura buff (wrath-anger-haste-2 helard of ice and fire- discipline) which is 1/10 of your tooltip damage, would you take a look and tell me why is that?

And btw, this is my first wander barrage, never used the skill before. Half of the time I cannot even tell am I hitting the boss since the attack is kinda random; do you have any tips on using the skill, its a real struggle to me?

And one more last thing, how do you manage to fit 7 auras? 2 discipline level 3?

So I started the league as a life-based Ele ST raider, farmed up to lvl 90+ and around 20ex, transitioned to Chaos BV Pathfinder. Downed shaper a few times, did some maps, but didn't really like how shitty BV was at mapping (and on bosses still seamed soso, specially compared to something like HoWA). I played HoWA last league, and Ele ST as this league's starter... so wanted something similar but not the same.

Figured i'd try a wander, and this build seemed to be most popular.

I liquidated all my gear and spent the better part of the last 2-3 days gearing up, rolling rings (i crafted both my Opal rings myself - not perfect, but seems decent.)

I also picked up my wand for 2ex.
I prolly will buy a better one/craft one later, but for the price, it seems pretty optimal. I spent like 1ex rolling for one without good enough stats to multi-mod... so figured i'd just buy a decent one to use for now. I could always throw an EX on it and hope for another good prefix? lol

Maps seem smooth, blow through T15 maps without much issue, haven't tried many bosses yet.

From what I gather, people are suggesting to drop Thunderfist for a 200ES+ glove - which I may do next, since that should push me over 8k ES. My boots are soso also, but hard to find a 200ES+ boot with movespeed without paying many ex.

Not used to playing such a glass-cannon build - My gear is decent, but only at 7600ES.
Note I also dropped the Throatseeker cluster (4 points) to pick up the 4 points to Nullifcation - as I felt it offered more overall while also providing much needed ES%.
It's basically a tradeoff of 54% crit multiplier for 24% attack damage, 20% crit chance, 15% ES, 5% life (which is basically about another 1% ES from Chayula), 20 int (another 4% ES), 8% all resists (not really needed for me, but helpful I imagine for those struggling to cap resists) - and 25% increased evasion... which isn't great by itself, but for my next point...


Barrage DPS 50,000 in hideout - KB is 43,600.
Not as great as others posting here, but I think this is decent for my gear? (No skyforth, not a GG wand, etc.) Note I am also currently running GRACE aura over HASTE. I know this isn't optimal for pewpew, but DPS already seems to be plenty for general mapping - and Grace aura literally boosts my evasion from 12% to 43%. That seems pretty decent for compensating on our squishiness - 31% additional chance to evade attacks is a big chunk. Maybe when I get better ES gear and hit above 8k, i'll feel better switching back to glasscannonmode.

For reference, running Haste instead bumps my DPS to 54,000 Barrage and 46,000 KB... personal preference if you think it's worth the tradeoff of 31% evasion chance.

Anybody have any suggestions on gear upgrades or changes? (Besides Skyforth or +2 Barrage CoE obviously, which I'm unsure I'll even be able to farm this league...)
Also, not sure if my gem setups are optimal for no-skyforth. I do have several Enlighten 3 and an Empower 3, can probably afford a 4 if necessary. Is it possible to squeeze in another aura on my life somehow? I have 270 unreserved, but even with Enlighten 3 + CoI it doesn't seem to be enough (i guess only with Skyforth or Enlighten 4?)

Also, i'm running a CWDT/Ice Golem setup since I can never be bothered to manually summon golems on any build I play... was going to add IC to the link, but 2red/2green on int boots is hard, so I just threw in a Tempest Shield on the CWDT for 3% more block and added lightning lulz.

This is a very good base, but to make it usable you need to scrub the suffixes and multimod it (4 more ex). Will be great once you do that though.

Yes, but will it be alot better than the 80c wand? Because I could spend those 4 Ex's on a Dying Sun.

The earlier wand has 12 less attack speed slightly less flat ele but 10 more spell damage and 10% more base crit so It would probably be comparable. Hard to say for sure.

Finally grabbed a wand that feels like an appropriate upgrade to Piscator's for the price. Debating slamming it, but we'll see.

Hey philophil, can you help me with some questions? I'd like you to look at my passive tree, and check if it's ok, also, i want to know what upgrades should i take.

I was planning to take this, in order of priority:

- Upgrade the wand;
- Take both opal rings with 20% es;
- Dying sun;

I was building as raider, and swap to PF 2 days ago, the difference is 1,5k ES, a lot more survivability and more DPS.
