Just as Nephalim explained to me before, a GG phy wand would give better dps. If you happen to have a 50ex+ GG phys wand, feel free to ignore everything in this thread and go and make your own build.

The unique point of this build is that it can be done a LOT cheaper than the phys counterpart. It was explained earlier in the thread that you can actually craft a pretty good wand for under 5ex if you pick up a good base for the right price.

A lot of people use PoB and come to the forums for inspiration before importing the build into PoB from the creators profile. You don't have to use PoB - Nephalim does explain the build pretty well in depth.

As for PoB: everyones' gear is different and people will always have different results from different changes on the tree. You can clearly see that he takes more lightning damage on the tree because he has gone for a T1 lightning damage wand. If you want to go fire damage, good luck travelling all the way to the fire nodes.

I made this build the COE/prism archon wander, u can even go on my youtube channel u will see on my early video Worst_luck asking question about my build, i have to thx him for making a build guide for is specific version of the build cuz not that much ppl can afford my gear, so more ppl could play that build this way. U can go trought many page on this thread ive always answer to most of the question asked by ppl even in game or on my youtube video in the comment section. So u should reconsider what u said, im only asking a real answer to futher show to ppl that everyone have to optimize there's build around there gear/currency bringing number out of nowhere w/o tree/gear reference is just pointless n missleading. And there's is no definite Best tree for everyone and everyone gear, so thats why ive always answered question differently from 1 person to another so they could get the right answer depending on there lvl/gear/budget.

Ur still not answering the question related to the tree/gear n u might never answer to it cuz it would show how pointless most of ur answer are because u answering ppl question w/o using there tree/gear.

personally i asked few things earlier and becouse of that discussion between you it was left few pages behind and im sure most of u guys dont read all the posts.

so to ask again:


1. Do i put Energy from within near Melding?
2. I got left with around 35 EX currency and im missing belt 2 rings and boots (using shitty placeholders just to get lvl 80) what should i spent my currency on? any crazy items mentioned earlier?
3. Still dont have a wand, like impossible to find any and if u already find one its 10 EX and still needs multimoding
4. Any idea how the tree should look like for Raider around lvl 90? what i should drop from Worts_Luck 100 lvl tree
5. At what point i gonna hit a wall with Piscator's? Should i spent serious currency on alter + regal wand?

The calculations are done with your tree and gear because the author does not even have a tree or character to do analysis on.

Nephalim has been asking me to give exact answer with fact that are 100% real/true, so its my right to ask the same from him. Also what happen to ur (u didn't made that build make ur own thread) ????????

to answer Nephalim: thats my exact point my tree is optimized for phys wand so because u care that much about exact n true fact u will have to make a optimized ele/spell tree to give the exact number has answer to ppl otherwise it will always have the same flaw.

1) When comparing two elemental wands, the overall difference between your skill tree and the author's is negligible. A Spell/hybrid/WED wand will always be weaker than Spell/fire/light wand if the tree and aura setup looks ANYTHING like the author's or yours. These are baselines that can be used to guide players on choosing their wands which is one of the most important parts of the build. If you can prove this point wrong, I will gladly retract my comment about PoB being a reliable test of dps.

2) When comparing physical was elemental wands, the only thing that will really tip the favor are elemental gained from physical nodes/skills/flasks like tempest blast, atziri's promise, ToH, HoA. In my calculations of physical vs elemental wands, I used your 'physical' tree and the elemental wands still came very close to foe bite for 2% of the cost. As a result, elemental wands are far superior for this build unless the person can spend hundreds of exalts for a mirror level wand for a 7% DPS gain.

Case and point: Going from this wand to foe bite on your build yields a total dps gain of a measly 6.8% DPS. Without tempest blast, this wand actually gives MORE dps than foe bite for your build.

Im not even arguing about 2 different ele wand number setup.

Has ive said over n over in the pass 5 min its about phys vs ELE wand tree, even if u think that they are very close that tree im using is far from being optimized for ele wand, so to provide the exact estimatyion of dmg difference u will have to make a optimized ele tree. Hint: ive been using Ele wand until the last week so u should be able to find my ele optimized tree. Ill also Quote myself about phys vs Ele wand investment so u will see ur ignorance about my personnal opinion.
