[2.6] LL Ele Wander Raider ~ Insane clear speed/Shaper/Guardians - 225k Barrage tooltip

@kunibald

Firstly, thank you for your input! I really appreciate it :)

I will look into getting an amulet like the one you posted, as I do not like the lack of ES AND negative lightning res (im already very tight on resistances at the moment) on the choir of the storm.

In regards to the gloves, do you have any examples in mind? Because while I would happily change gloves for more ES, especially if the mods can increase my DPS, I realise that KB would become weaker, and that is the main AoE spell for map clear, and to be honest I am not really willing to reduce my map clear speed in exchange for extra ES.

In regards to attack speed, I find that at the moment the attack speed is very fast, but I seem to have mana issues. While when attacking I never find these problems, I notice that because attack speed is fast, if I miss one or two KB and there is no leech, I am out of mana and unable to cast further until it regenerates. As such I am not sure how to resolve this issue, rather than being more careful with my casts (which reduces clear speed)

Thanks!

My amulet could be better with WED instead of spell damage.

I do not have ES gloves atm, but I would aim for 300 es gloves with an Essence of Hysteria craft(175 to 225 firedamage). Dunno the exact numbers but kinetic blast should oneshot everything with both gloves. ES additionally add a high amount of ES ;-)

I do agree with attack speed. I feel like it is enough. If you aim for high tooltip I think you should aim for attack speed.

Mana is a weird thing. I never had/have mana problems with this build, although some poeple say they have mana problems. Vessel of Vinktar solves all mana problems for me. I also use one manaleech node on the skilltree(check out my character profil if you want, character: KuniLovesHisFlasks), but I think I'll will remove that node.

Edit: btw I realized that the Essence of hysteria craft is just for socketed gems. That means you loose 1 to 100 lighting damage on barrage. Well who cares :P

@kunibald

Do you mind me asking why you are using added fire instead added lightning though? I thought our build amplifies lightning damage much more than fire?

That is true. However if you want to amplify your attacks with rare ES gloves there is no lightning damage option, but since we scale elemental damage we also scale fire damage.

Edit: btw I am not using an added fire gem. Don't do it :D

Edit2: I am now going to check which gloves are overall better with path of building. Normal attack spped gloves also improve barrage.

Hi guys !

I'd love to try this build out but i don't quite have the currency yet, so i was wondering if any of you knows if this build could temporarily be done as CI, the time for me to gather the currency for all that gear ! I've been playing with Path of Building but i can't make a passive tree as CI that looks good enough to handle mapping, so i'd really appreciate any help on that matter.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my poor englando, but it's not my native language !

Hi,

I have been following this build, but at the moment have some questions.

It is a bit confusing as there are two different builds with different set ups and skill trees, and I am a bit confused as to how to optimise the build.

I like the usage of thunderfist gloves as it allows me to have KB (aoe clear) in the same setup without any gem or gear switches. I also like presence of chayula because of the ES boost (although Im not sure if this is significant or important compared to the switch in necklaces)

So my questions are in regards to;

Which golem should I use? Ice/lightning? I originally used ice because I thought I needed the accuracy/crit chance, but recently when I checked the barrage tool tip, the ice golem only changes accuracy from 90% to 92%, and crit chance from 21.4 to 24.4%. So wouldnt a lightning golem increase my dps by more than the ice golem?

Next, should I be focusing on opal rings or diamond rings, since I am choosing to keep the thunderfist gloves? (or is this dependent on whether or not I choose to remain a raider or change to a pathfinder?

Next, I am currently running assasins mark+curse on hit to generate power charges, but as I have recently got skyforths, I think I could change it out, but not sure what to change it to? (again I realise this may be dependent on whether I choose to remain a raider or to change to a path finder)

I also realise that because of the introduction of skyforths I no longer need 20% mana reservation reduction, and that 16% would suffice. As such should I respec these points, and if so, what should they be respeced into?

This is a list of my current gear:

Flasks:

Auras:

at 16%

I appreciate any advice+tips on these issues!!

Use lightning golem, since it gives us flat lightning to scale much better with wrath/hot/lightning dmg on tree.

In terms of what blasph setup to run, with skyforths i'd recommend warlords mark, it helps clear some of the potential mana problems you might face when you reserve extra auras, as well as give us very nice leech to compensate for vitality void loss or synergy.

Accuracy/AS on high ES gloves negates the lost link on KB in my opinion. It's enough to one-shot most trash at higher stats.

Opal rings are good because you can hit them with essences of wrath to get massive flat lightning, coupled with ES and ele dmg as well as resists can potentially make a GG ring for this build. However, it is more beneficial to have diamond rings for that in my opinion. I like the %ele damage because of the big amounts of flat lightning modifiers(boot enchant, wrath essences on rings, etc) I have on rings already, which makes it better than diamond rings, because the %ele damage is scaling off big flat lightning modifiers quite well and most likely makes it better than crit gain from dia rings most of the time.

Presence gives massive ES which compensates for loss from skyforths, so keep it for sure.

Thanks for your detailed questions, not many people like to format their questions properly :)

also if ur using skyforth u don't need chayula u have to use choir of the storm for much better dmg result
A day w/o dealing with stupid ppl is like....Never mind. Ill tell u if it ever happens
Hey, i discovered this guide today, and i wanna try it but i have some questions.

-I want to rush to lvl 100, and be able to make all content, i want to use Headhunter, but if i use Skyforth too ill have very low ES, so i only want HH, then, ill use presence of chayula, and for Power charges... HoI+CoH+Assmark is enough??? because with my ST i can sustain pcs easily with that setup.

-And with my idea, what do u recommend me, pathfinder or Raider? ill be saving for HH so i dont have so much money anyway(i heard pathfinder is expensive)

-For wand.. some people use FLAT LIghtning, and other %spell, and they multimod, and Kunibald uses Piscator, any recommendation??

-For Rings Opal rings medium rolled, or Diamond rings well rolled? we search %inc ele or more flat dmg?

Thanks for all guys!!! (p.d. blood rage yes or not?)

pathfinder or raider? in terms of survivebility?
Hey Philo and Worst! First off thanks for all the info and questions answered! You two have offered a ton of options for all the people tryin this out here. I have a weird question for you guys lol.

Basically I'm a lazy guy. I'd like to run skyforths with Worsts build (all items and passives) purely for simplicities sake (less power charge managing by not having to cast orb of storms). If I did that and swapped out the thunderfists for a good rare would there be any other real modifications to do, or would I need to screw with the gems and tree a bit? The goal is to only have to cast my movement spell flasks and kb or barrage! (#plsdonthatemecusimlazy <3)

Again, even if I get no response, you two have been a great help and I for one seriously appreciate it!
