Path of Exile is Coming to Xbox One!
" Nice product allegiance there. The proof is in the pudding, every other f2p game that's been ported to console dies. |

GGG is that a spoiler of 3.0 patch at 2:28? :D
For all of you who ask a porting for PS4: it's not that simple. Win and Xbox share a lot, you can even play xbox games in win10. To port the game into PS4 they need to rewrite a lot of the whole code, so I don't think that it will happen. For all of you that fear about the drop of quality on PC version: it will not. They take the PC code, downgrade it and adapt to XBOX. They need to adapt and downgrade it because the console have limitations... lack of buttons, gameplay with a analog stick (LMAO), gameplay with just 2 fingers, etc. So I don't think we need to fear the xbox version. Indeed, GGG will need more staff on PoE console version, but the main system will always be the PC version. I see the xbox launch like a good opportunity to keep spreading the game and like a new source of founds. |

Funny seeing all the people with no supporter packs whining. It's not your money they are spending. Xbone is likely to have a $60 tag on the game, which will bring in a lot more revenue than you have contributed. Crying about it won't help a bit. Go read the interview with Chris. If that doesn't alleviate your concerns, uninstalling the game is a viable option.

PCI: Path of Exile supporters are passionate about the game and not all will be pleased to see money being put into a console version. Can you reassure them that their support it as valuable as ever to keep the PC version expanding and how has the Xbox version been funded?
Chris Wilson: Almost all of the money spent on the console version has improved the performance of the PC one also. The revenue generated by the console version will be spent expanding the game with new acts and other content for both versions. PCI: As far as technical improvements are concerned in future updates, do you see the limitations of the Xbox version having any impact on the PC experience at all? Chris Wilson: Absolutely. They have and will continue to result in performance improvements that affect the PC version as well. do you see the limitations of the Xbox version having any impact on the PC experience at all? " Please explain how they could cost effectively create a PS4 port somewhat quickly with devs who may or may not be experienced with OpenGL? |

I don't see anything good coming out of this for PC gamers - historically speaking it's unequivocally downhill once a PC game is consolized regardless of initial intention.
I stopped seriously playing HC after the lab was introduced, and will only pop in occasionally until it's changed. The only silver lining I can see is a chance to have WASD type of movement in the PC client, seeing how a console version can only have that type of movement. Wait and see once again. I'm the Ps guy: Psomm, Pso, Psong, pso-on and pso-phorth.

I already made a post but its started to sink in now......can't believe this betrayal to PC gamers I'm just lost for words.....I may play from time to time to see how PC weathers this but as it stands I wont be dropping large sums of $$$ on supporter packs any more!
