[2.6] Windz's Mortem Throw/Flurry Build (Shaper, Uber Atziri, Guardian),

Hi there ! Do you think Vaal Pact is mandatory for this build ? Because I was considering going to the Duelist section of the tree instead of the Scion Life wheel, in order to get some life regen to be able to use Blood Rage. I would get the same amount of life in that case.

EDIT : By the way, is the Steel Spirit threshold jewel worth it ?

What do you guys think how good is this claw for the build?
Found it on my main char and leveling another following this build.

I don't play this build this league but a friend of mine played it and judging from the results (videos, pob stats, and how the build performs) and I've played PoE long enough to be comfortable in saying that this is one of the best build in terms of cost-performance ratio out of pretty much all 2.6 builds out there. So good job and Thanks for posting the guide!

I am curious about something though. How'd you say regarding the end game and league starter performance of this build in a hypothetical scenario which double dipping doesn't work. You can still stack poison, still scale chaos damage normally including the poison, just no double dipping from proj. multiplier etc. (Yes, I'm thinking of a possibility of using this build for 3.0 starter). Thanks Again!

yeah vaal pact is rly good for face tanking bosses. You can still run blood rage with vaal pact just more annoying. Put blood rage in ur weapon/shield and weapon swap to turn blood rage off.

jewel is not worth it sadly

thank you for the feedback.

I think the damage will fall off hard but we have to see how they address double dipping.

How are you healing through shaper beam? I just attempted shaper and got rekt. I recently changed to blade flurry for more dmg/clearspeed/more my playstyle, may change back to spectral and retry, however on path of building, my life leach is more then yours and dmg is slightly higher. I dont know where to go from here, killed all guardians without issue except for hydra, had a few deaths.

I would appreciate any help, thanks!

I'm currently playing with Path of Building, and it seems a version with Bino's Kitchen Knife and Poison Gem instead of Faster Attacks would give substantially more base DPS (but a slight poison over time decrease), at the cost of respecing claw nodes into dagger ones and using the life/mana leech from Duelist tree. What do you think ?

Oh and also, can you confirm that Spectral Throw is better than Blade Flurry for general mapping ?
Thought I'd give double dipping/poison abuse one last go before 3.0.
Haven't played spectral throw for a very long time either (when phys 2h spectral throw was popular!).

Going pretty well, levelling was a breeze with a few uniques and thief's torment.
Level 73 atm (And got a few point quests to go back for). I've gone IR early, as I'm wearing Kaom's Roots. Seemed sensible.
I will probably try and grab a bit more life, maybe the ranger life/evasion nodes and take method to the madness very late, if at all. I'm picking up a bit of damage from helm and rings anyway.

Current gear

I need to craft some of the gear, rebalance resistances and put flat chaos on the rings. Got another ok % chaos ring I can use if I can sort out resistances too.
Want to replace the amulet as well, it's pretty nice as it is, but no room for chaos res.
Helm is only a 25% roll, 40% ones are so expensive. Not paying a 6ex premium for 15% inc damage.
Master crafted life on gloves not ideal, but I need the resistances. Couldn't find a pair with all I needed for less than multiple ex, so I chaos spammed these. Ideally I'd sort res out elsewhere so I could get attack speed though. I'll keep looking.

But fairly decent gear I guess in general.

No luck on 21/20 added chaos either. I'm lazy so have been picking up 20/20s for sale. probably could have bought a 21 by now.

It's one of those deceptive characters, 'real' damage is a lot higher than even path of building says. Not taken on anything as a real test yet, but enraged arid lake boss is pretty tanky, and goes down instantly.

One slightly annoying thing, especially if wearing Roots is that we can't whirl around very much without going OOM. Could go blood magic, but I'm socket starved, and blood magic whirl + blood rage + vaal pact isn't a great combo. Maybe reduced mana if I can fit in the link. it's also not super quick yet - need to flip the gems.

Gear / DPS update:

TT GMP no charges: 18k
TT GMP with charges: 30,900

TT SP no charges - 28k
TT SP with charges + flasks - 55k

Gear:

Phoenix is a bitch :/ Have to kite him - but mby i just have no experience. Previously could just stand there with BV up untill he died.

With 3 lvls more and 21/20 dmg would probably go up to max 33-34k GMP / 58-60k SP. But thats the TOP this build can go. There is nothing more to update after that.

Just killed uber atziri in SSF with this build, what can i say, poison OP. ty for build
I'm having some survivability issues at level 75. I got lucky with some of my Vaal orbs and got 5 corrupted items with no real issues, so I'm trying Hungry Abyss even though it says it's not mandatory anymore.

My HP is still a bit low, but any pointers overall as to how to progress? Also, should I used a Silver Flask or Atziri's Promise with the Hungry Abyss jewel?

T9 bosses just shit on me so far. I can't even kill Estuary boss before he crushes me. Do I just need more levels?

(Char is Poison_Bananas on Legacy SC)
