Im very interested in trying out your build but im not really sure how I should level up or when to make the switch to full spectres. Any tips on how to do it? Thanks in advance for the great build!

Love the build. I have fresh character in the league so I'm in the process of gearing up still.
Also I am kinda new to the vaal gems. Which level vaal discipline I should get or are all the vaal gems just lvl 1? I have never used vaal gems before (casual PoE player). |

I see a number of people frustrated with getting specific specters. I have a suggestion. Is there interest in a group ( channel or guild, …) where players who find certain specters in a map can announce that for others to join and desecrate or raise dead monsters ? Something like channel 820 for lab/masters. I usually finish maps with 5 or 4 unused portals.

I just downloaded the Path of building tool. Tried to replicate your build there and it shows a dps of 87k to 98k. Is there any math around it to get to the numbers u have? Besides multiplying by the number of spectres you have.

" It's as straightforward as it gets. Follow the tree (might want to take some life nodes since you won't have shavs for a long time probably), get uniques like ullr/bargain as you reach the required levels (they cost like 1 alchemy). Your minions will be very fragile early on, fix it by taking Necromantic Aegis and using Springleaf shield and Shaper's Seed amulet, this will give them tons of regen to tank through anything. Rely on SRS for damage since you get them right off the bat, at 28 you can get Spectres and get flame sentinels right away in Solaris Temple, but they will get outdated fairly quickly so by act 5 they will die all the time. Once you reach the end of A5 you can get Kitava's Heralds (in Cathedral Rooftop area), they're super tanky and do very considerable damage, just don't forget to switch to melee support gems. You will still rely on SRS for a large portion of your damage until mid-A8 when you can get high level flame sentinels, which will finally start carrying the DPS. | |
" It's easiest to just ignore spectres/zombies as anything other than a distraction until higher level. They're good for taking hits for you. In the 40s and 50s, zombies start to become formidable tanks. Just use Freezing Pulse and then Firestorm self cast to level. It will definitely carry you to act 8+ and you can start getting Solar Guards and Flame Sentinels from Solaris Temple (lvl 59) as spectres. I wanne get my purity gems to a higher than 20 level. Vaaled one gem and nothing happened/changed. My plan is now - and should I be unlucky with the othre purity gems as well - to level other purity gems on the second weapons/equipment slots and then try again when they reach level 20. Or can you vaal level one gems too? I mean, what happens if you vaal a level one e.g. purity of ice. Does that mean that if you are successful in raising the max level it jumps to level 2 or 3? Is that how you see you were successful? Any input would be welcome. And how big is the chance to raise level via vaal? |

Great guide, I'm level 82 at the moment and I don't reach even 5800 energy shield. How much energy shield do you get at 90? thanks
