You must be confused. Each void battery gives -80% spell damage and it has absolutely nothing to do with rolls.

Void battery this is +36-40% spell damage and -80% spell famage,so...

I see, this is some surprising logic but I understand what you two meant now.

I wonder if Snakepit could replace one of the Diamond rings.

I used dual Snakepits up until I could spend currency on rolling opal rings. The snakepits did amazing and I could easily clear upto t13-15 without any problems, the DPS is there (bosses have always been a problem for me though).

I dont use pandemonius, cause it is expensive. And mine amulet has second resist. And can possibly has bonus hp. But Pandemonius blinds enemies, so, may be, i should try it.

Not using the Pandemonius is a huge setback, its considered core for a lot of reasons. Also not to offend but some of you may be relying on "NiobMordodrukow" waaaaaaaay to much. He didn't author this build so his recommendations may be less than optimal, you should take everyone besides the authors advice with a grain of salt, including mine. Especially including mine!

You are all heavily discussing how to budget this build which is fine I suppose? But I feel its missing a bit of the point of the build, its going to be expensive. I feel what items to be used while trying to get the uniques for the "funded" version is what is important, not what rares to use without trying to achieve the funded version at all.

Like I said I have had a very successful run with this build and geared my early character and such a way that upgrades would flow naturally so ill post my gearing process.

Spoiler

First buy your Belly 5L and Pandemonius, just use whatever rare or leveling gear you have until this point. I could do anything up to maybe tier 5 or a bit higher with just rare/leveling gear. Once you have these CORE items you can start to figure out what other gear you are going to use while you buy the more expensive uniques.

Helm-
Spoiler
(Life/Resits/Dex*)
Any rare helm can do great, you want to pair it with your gloves/belt to fill out your resits. I made sure my helmet had armor on it so that I could get the link that I need for CWDT. you can also look for a helm with the FP cast-speed enchant if you would like but that will make it harder/more expensive.
Dex* - I had a problem with dex for a while so I just got a helm I could craft dex on.

Gauntlets-
Spoiler
(Life/Resits)
I knew that Acuity would be my last possible upgrade so I bought some nice fingerless silk gloves that I could rely on for a long time. Together with my belt/helm they needed to completely cap my resits.

Belt-
Spoiler
(Life/Resits)
Same shit, want life+strength+ resits to cap everything when paired with your gloves & helm.

Rings-
Spoiler
(Dual Snakepit)
I didnt mention rings for resits because I used dual Snakepits until after I got my 6L belly and could afford to roll opals with essences of hatred. The rings add a TON of early DPS, the extra projectiles are nice, and the rings are quite cheap. Fyi changing rings was my was my last upgrade before going for Acuity.

Wands-
Spoiler
(spelldamage/spellcrit/cold damage/cast speed/ or dual Heartbreakers)
I used crappy rare wands with some combination of those stats until I could get my Void batteries, dual Heartbreakers might be a good option but I got my Void battereis too quickly for me to try them.

Boots-
Spoiler
(Inya's Epiphany)
I wanted boots that would be easily replaceable with Skyforths without having to do my resists and stuff over, placesholders as you will. So I bought a pair Inya's Epiphany to hold the spot until I could get Skyforths which was quite away off. They interact well with the build, have no downsides, and dont give you anything you will be hurting for when you switch. They were my loveable budget Skyforths and I HIGHLY recommend them. (I also should mention here that Skyforths are super important, almost core themselves because they give you a Global 7L and solve your stun problem. They allow you to take power charge on crit out of your links which is huge for DPS)

Also, I know The Pandemonius is expensive so if you absolutely have to wait to get it you can buy your gloves, rings, belt, and boots first but when you do so make sure you are not relying on your amulet for anything but cold resist. I repeat, if you are following my example but dont want to buy The Pandemonius right away do not rely on your amulet for anything but approx 25% cold resist!

Lastly my upgrades went in this order:
Belly 5L > Pandemonius > Helm/Gloves/Iniya's/Snakepits > Void Batteries > Skyforths > Belly 6L > Helm with Enchant/Opal Rings with essence of wrath > (yet to be bought) Acuity.

So I guess that is my advice on how to gear this build. How to slowly upgrade from the budget version to the funded version, which is what I believe should be everyone's goal playing this build.

Hope this helps someone!

I m totally agree with that. Paigey is the author, he must know, what he is doing, better than me.

I m just trying to widely explain some mechanical things which obvious for skilled player, but can be something new for the novice. And, ofc, some decisions each player must make by himself (like i do, when i decided to play without MoM). Our goal is to explain how the game works. Not just let people to copy our builds.

Twice.

The changes were simple: soul of Tukohama instead of soul of Yugul to get 8% phys res. Surgeon's basalt flask of grounding for more phys res. Also for removing the shock. Then stand still and facetank all but his burrow ability (he will not use it if you will be near to him).

Also: disable Herald of ice, use Arctic armour instead if you have no Atziri acuity or good reservation reduction.

UPD. Hydra down too:
Spoiler

Without mods, but can be done easily like phoenix. May be, even without getting any dmg. Still want to get it with mods anyway...

UPD. Now with mods:
Spoiler

Dead 2 times. After first death realized, that i have Item rarity support in place of Increased critical strikes -_-. I think, after some practice, it can be doable without dying.

And Chimera WO mods:

Hey guys thanks for the updates on how the build is going for you.

If I don't reply I either missed it (pretty rare) or I don't have a definite answer for you. I've been running Dual Scourge Necro Spec Throw testing out a build idea and so far it's been really fun, however I plan on coming back to this build and seeing how I can tweak a few things and taking it as far as I can into bosses.

I dont want to disturb, but You've said that $m dps is viable, so how can I get dps like this when at 89lv i have about 150k? What should I do Paig? Generally increase dmg. I have void batteries, skyforths, 6lbelly (1red but im working at it)Survability is acceptable, 4200hp but dps is still low and real dmg I think can be higher. Can You say sth in this? Im doing cold pene, yes. This is right :)

Well first of all the 4mil DPS is effective DPS, not tooltip DPS.

Secondly those kind of numbers are only obtainable by dual mirror worthy rare wands. I think the PoB link should show you what kind of setup you need to run for 4mil effective DPS.

What is PoB? and... In Budget version You use a rare wand which is posted for 1ex. If have I 500c should I chage void battery on something rare? When I should change void battery? Wands 90crit, multi 30 and others cost about 40c not 1 mirror

You need something like:
14% increased Cast Speed (implicit)
118% increased Spell Damage
Adds 40 to 69 Cold Damage to Spells
25% increased Cast Speed
109% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells
+38% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier
+28 to maximum Mana

It is possible to obtain on Standard, if you have hundreds of exalts to craft what you need.
