Seeing as Added Chaos gem and Flat Chaos on gear are your main damage sources, weapon speed and Flat Chaos are what matters. 2h weapons are just worse for this, lose out on the offhand bonus and extra speed... Overall, it'd just be worse.

Unless you're doing some sort of niche Physical build, 2h weapons have little use in this meta. Exceptions exist, this isn't one.

Anyway I could use Zerker instead of Slayer for this build? Anythoughts on the tree for ele?

Why add crit though? pdps better maybe? I have seen Assassin used for this not sure about Zerker.
