(at least until I switch them to SR-CwC too)

I'm using your Scion version of this. When are you planning to post the SR-CwC versions? I'd like to try it. Sounds cool.

I'll take a look at the Scion during the holidays. Already decided to go with Ele+Jugg and SR+CwC, the only question is whether AoF+CtF+Perandus will still be better than Pyre+points+gem or not. Before the switch to CwC, it was CtF vs CD. But now its CtF vs an even stronger gem, so I dunno... Perandus is expensive, Pyre is cheap and helps with resists... Perhaps the main version of the Scion build will use Pyre like everybody else, and Perandus will be a luxury upgrade at high levels when you have good gear and enough Int.

Are you still in favor of Perandus now that it is 2%? I saw someone else ask you this in the Scion thread, but it's so many pages, I can't find your answer.
Hello What a bout using a 6L or do the links have to be exactly the same as the ones you're using?
Finally got to do Chayula. It's supposed to be more common now, but the prices are only going up! WTF

New video: Chayula Run

Keep moving. Never stop. Ignore the rares in this domain, they teleport, evade and basically waste your time.

For this (and Uul-Netol) use:
- Increased Duration instead of Life Leech
- Controlled Destruction instead of Concentrated Effect
- a breach ring with 60+ Int instead of Doedre's Damning

- Quicksilver flask
- Sulphur flask
- Atziri's Promise

See the Links section. Can link Orb of Storms to the curses for more versatility. But it's just QoL, we don't need 6L.

Any idea why Chayula just stood still in this video? :D

Beats me. In my other runs she was sometimes shooting purple projectiles in the 4 cardinal directions or doing some long animation and spawned the add portal. Maybe she is stunnable?? And since I took zero damage whatsoever, either that or all 100% of her damage is chaos... LOL? )))

Either way, both Uul-Netol and Chayula are just pinatas with loot and the whole challenge is reaching them.

I mean a 6L with the staff? My friend has one which I will be using but its 6L. Will that pose a problem?

Icestorm uses all support gems without the need to link them. You only need 2L in the staff to link SR with CwC. Any more links are just to support SR to get some extra damage from it, although it's minor compared to Icestorm's damage. FP and LL don't work with SR, so linking them does nothing at all.

The most you can use is 5L when using CD instead of LL (less leech but much more damage, seems to work fine when your gear is good enough). I'm trying that now:

But since FP is a must, there is no reason to ever 6L the staff. If you just happen to have one with 6L - that's fine, it won't cause any problems, but won't improve anything either.

Alright gotcha. Last question, if I wanted to take cloaked in savage instead or rite of ruin would that be unwise? I imagine that the 100% leech would have its benefits?
Important update:

- Enlighten is no longer used. It was just carried over from the pre-CwC era but you have enough mana to spam SR without it. This frees up a gem socket for anything you like: Vaal Discipline (a.k.a the 'Oh Shit!' button), Vall Lightning Trap (some bosses are not immune to shock), Lightning Warp (for the lab and trials), etc. I couldn't think of any gem that would be a major upgrade. Ideas are welcome.

- This also means cheaper helm coloring (can go with BBRG and put AA in it).

- Dropped Life Leech in favor of more damage. Pain Reaver is enough, except for ele reflect maps.

The choice what to drop is between LL and WM (replace WM with Flammability). I tried dropping both but that proved to be too unsafe in high tiers with mods. But dropping one of them seems to work fine. I decided to drop LL and keep WM because it provides stun and endurance charges, and the effect of Flammability is greatly reduced against the bosses.

Now the tooltip is quite insane and this version may just be the highest DPS of them all.

Cloaked in Savagery doesn't work with CI:

None of the above.

You can take a Savage Hit with CI, it will happen whenever a hit removes 20% or more of your life. Since your life is 1, and hit that removes any of your life will remove 100% of it, which is greater than 20%, and thus a Savage Hit.

Making use of the bonus while dead is left as an exercise for the reader.
