[2.6] CI HoWA ST - Uber / Shaper / Guardians Down - Budget Friendly?

Hi, I just wanna ask somethinG. With my current gear and passive skill tree. For my tool tip, my dps is about 13k for spectre throw. Is this normal? I've seen a few who has dps at about 30k at around level 80+ is there something wrong with my passive or gears? Thanks in advance!

" Your gear is pretty damn good. Although honestly I'd drop the Skyforths for some higher-ES boots with resists. You should then be able to swap in Opal rings for higher damage. That's pretty min-max though. The benefits probably aren't going to be that much. After those changes, make sure you pick up the jewel node underneath Duelist, and slot in a Brute Force Solution. And then grab the one near Ranger, and get another Fertile Mind. That should get you a bunch of damage and ES. Edit: Didn't realize you had a Fertile Mind in the jewel slot above ranger start. Remove it from there and swap it to the one to the right of Ranger. There isn't a lot of dex to be converted in the one you have it in currently. Keep the slot though, and stick a jewel with a bunch of attack speed and lightning damage in it. Also do the Raider set up sooner rather than later. The ascendancy buffs means my character goes from 27K in the hideout, to 80K or so when clearing. It really makes a difference. Hey guys, just wanted to link my gear and tree and see what you guys think (recommendations, or as an example for others). I Hit level 93 today, was able to do a couple chayula breaches nice and easy. Chayula himself died in about 15 or 20 seconds, no problems had. I haven't done shaper yet but Ive beat him with far less OP builds, so he should be no problem. Guardians are currently a joke. Im looking for minor min/max recommendations, my current goal is to get a crystal belt and 2 12% HoWA's. In summary, the build adds up extremely well and Im sure it will see the nerf bat in the coming league.

Well the obvious recommendation is to get int on your armour. Also opal rings would help, divine your astramentis and as you said change your belt to crystal (maybe even with int). Minor things though if you have currency to burn.

Hello HoWA friends. Im still leveling and my question isnt gear or dps related yet but more from what skill to use (yes i know this is a ST guide but still) and what tree to use.
So i initially thought of going ST myself but after testing blade flurry and loving it mechanically and having no ST MTX i was thinking of going for BF instead. Now first of all i'd like to know if BF is worse than ST in any way (other than not having as much range) and if it is worse then by how much. And lastly the skill trees (both for lvl 100 just to see what im going for) ST tree : Passive skill tree build BF tree : Passive skill tree build Now the big upside other than me liking BF to the BF tree is losing a few proj dmg nodes for heart of thunder which is 78% lightning dmg i think +3% more pen. " In principle the only major change is the colouring of your regalia. ST uses 3g 2b 1r --> ST, Faster Attacks, SP/GMP, WED, ELE Focus, Lightning Pen BF uses 2g 3b 1r --> ST, Faster Attacks, Conc Effect/inc AoE, WED, Ele Focus, Lightning Pen Blade Flurry got nerfed in patch 2.6, however should still be well capable of carrying you through endgame content. I found BF to be superior compared to ST in terms of Shaper/Uber Atziri/Chayula clearing (at least in Breach league), haven't really tried it in Legacy. The tree looks reasonable as well :) Aim for 10k ES and pump the rest into dmg/int nodes. Message me if you have further questions |
