Sure, but I dont think the 6L is necessary. Claws are 1.6 attacks per second so its not too bad.

So yesterday I decided to respec my WI into a an Elemental Flurry build. Very similar to this one, and another one that was posted.

You can check my Profile (I play in BHC)

The main difference is I went do to pick up Unwavering Stance, as it's not too far, and most of the STR nodes are converted to INT.

I am sitting at over 10K es with mediocre gear, that is still not optimized after the switch, I am able to run a Astremitis Amulet since I dont have any slots taking up space for Stun Immunity.
My tooltip damage is 6.5K.

Couple of thoughts that I could maybe get some feedback on:

1) HoT vs Wrath? You use HoT while I was following the other guy and using Wrath. What is the differenc...the main thing I see is the Mana Reserved, which would allow us to run another Aura (AA in your case). Is the damage tradeoff big and is it worth it?

2) Is Shaper really that important? Especially if you are running Vinktar...you already shocking. Even without a 6 link I decided to go the other path and pickup Discord for 25% extra penetration.

3) What do you think is required Avg. Dmg to start high tier maps? t13+

4) Why use Vaal Lightning trap when you already shocking so much...wouldnt Vaal Haste be overall a better choice?

5) Golem...Fire or Ice for the second? I guess both are a DMG buff, but the extra Accuracy from Ice might become better at higher levels when your accuracy start dropping.

1. Personally feel that the build has plenty of damage already which is why I prefer the defensive aura + HoT. Dont have a Wrath to compare with so cant say how much damage you lose. A thing to not though is that quality on HoT will increase your lightning damage globally.

2. I really like shaper, the burns are amazing for breaches etc. I think its more up to personal flavor, I really displike the playsyle of for example using frost blades to proc Mastermind of Discord.

3. With 5k Blade Flurry Damage Im sure you can do shaper easily. Not sure how much you need exactly for t13 but I was facerolling maps from 68 to almost level 90.

4. Considering all t15 bosses die in about 2 seconds its really nice to have that extra shock for the guardians or normal/uber atziri. Again its up to personal choice. I really dont feel like I need the extra clearspeed from Haste I already have more than enough. But use whatever feels right for you.

Edit: Also to add I dont feel the 10 extra points you have to spend to get Unwavering is worth it. You could maybe argue with it for the raider version which is only 8 points but then I'd still disagree. The dexterity from Astramentis gives us 4% attack speed some accuracy, strength Is quite useless so that just leaves us with the 115 int if it has a very nice roll. I can see just taking 2 more jewels will net you a similar or higher amount of damage, but probably leave you with a lower ES total. For most builds even a rare amulet with a high int roll, weapon elemental damage and lightning damage will be better. Astramentis is in no way for me the best choice for the build.

I see for the Vaal Lightning Trap it is for free shock. But how about for orb of storms? although I already link them but I can still use it manually?
