yeah, its probably the best helm for my purposes. didn't really need resists, but accuracy, int, and high es are extremely helpful for this build. i have NO clue what its worth though. theres nothing like it for sale on breach or even on standard.

How dont you guys need resists? Dont you cap for ele weakness maps? Get 169 res is a pain for this build.

Getting overcap for ele weakness is extremely difficult, I agree. IF you can't cap resists then you can run a purity of elements for ele weakness maps. I had to get a decent amount of resists on my jewels to get near ele weakness cap.

Yeah, thats why i was asking )
As for me i dont like reequipping items or auras for different situations, so i just go for some es/res jewels to feel safe in any map, cause dmg is pretty decent already. I also dont think that 8th frenzy charge and 1 jewel socket near nullification are worth 6 points on the tree. I go for more aoe instead and it helps alot while mapping. Im also not sure HoT is worth running, but i have an enlighten lvl4 and dont know what to do with it ) Maybe arctic armour?
Here are my items and tree if anyone interested:

Cant also decide on Unnatural call or Arcane focus. 6% es or 1% max light res for same 3 points. Dunno what to chose :)

Arctic armour is not a bad choice since the build can be very vulnerable to physical damage. Zero armour, no dodge, no block. Your tree is not bad at all and definitely viable. Build is just as strong simply because HOWA is pretty OP.

I didn't go for the AOE nodes because I found dying sun to be enough for most situations during maps. For bosses it's not really a big issue, even with the 25% less area of effect mod. But it's definitely not a bad pick either. This is a flexible build that can be adapted slightly to the player's gear as well as play style.

I'd go for Unnatural calm, but it's up to you.

I never ever pushed this far with any other build rather than this one.
Reach lvl 90 and do 3/4 guardian ( except chimera cuz no1 want to sell its map for 13c :/), did twin core with ez.
At level 90 , I have 6K DPS H/O and 8K ES with so so gear.
Going to try Shaper again on this week and if im able to clear this then it will be my final challenge for this game.
finding it really hard to find good gear for this build that's within my budget. could anyone hit me up in game and give me some advice or help me look for gear? I crafted myself a really nice chest but still need to buy/craft all the other gear
I started as a Spectral Throw character, but with the similarity of the tree and skills, and thinking CI Raider would be a lot stronger than my life Inquisitor, I decided to flip over to BF to give this version a try. As everyone in this thread knows, it's amazing.

I went a bit of a different path from MFJones. I felt like the pathing up to Heart of Thunder spent too many points, and didn't offer as much defense. While his tree maximizes the offense, without the gear he has to support it, I don't know that's it's ideal for the average character. his extra skill points being 97 push that path a lot farther.

I've been using Path of Building to really min/max my gear and tree. With that pathing, I gain 11k damage (calculated assuming 6 stacks of BF and 8 frenzy charges, with Wrath, HoT, and Ancestral Protector buffing, and Ele Weakness cursed enemy). 936k per sec at 6 charges per my tree, 947k for his tree (truncated to my level). However I also drop 1300 ES from 10,300 ES to 9000. Pretty hefty drop.

Now, this is definitely not an indictment of MFJones's tree by any means. With is gear, it's absolutely the best path. But on a budget, I think it can be pathed better for more defense without losing much damage.

Current Gear

This is MY current level 90 tree This is based on the fact that I randomly got the 80% stun avoidance enchantment on my boots, and decided to free up 6 passive points speccing out of US, but I fully agree US is worth the points otherwise.

This was my intended Level 91 tree prior to the boot enchant.

This tree was naturally built around my specific gear. I tried to stack accuracy where I could on gear to avoid the nodes on the skill tree. I feel like they aren't very effective, especially when you're converting the dex to int.

Deep Wisdom, Arcane Focus and the ES path down to the Witch start point offer a lot more ES than the INT path towards Unnatural Calm. It also puts you close to the Area Damage/Radius nodes, which offer DPS and QoL with the radius increase.

Finesse and Coordination are extremely strong nodes for only 2 points each on my tree. Art of the Gladiator is also very strong for only 3. Those 7 points net you 32% increased attack speed, 40% increased Accuracy, and 50 Dex for more AS and Acc. I run 2 Fertile Mind at Vaal Pact and Ranger Frenzy. I had Brute Force Solution when US was taken. The Int conversion jewels are better defensively, but a strong 3 offensive stat rare jewel will almost always offer more DPS.

Because I'm lazy as shit, I grabbed the full influence tree for more ES, and I run Elemental Weakness as an aura. It's effective, and I don't need to worry about casting Orb of Storms to curse. I lose the ability to use Herald of Thunder, but that only adds so much, and having EW for every mobs without casting offers a huge DPS boost for map clearing. It also allows for an easy swap to Purity of Elements on Weakness cursed maps since both reserve 35%.

Just wanted to offer an alternative to those without insane gear. It keeps the damage competitive, and offers a little more on the defensive end.

I used pretty much exact same as your passive tree while leveling to 90. Get around 900 ES but lost around 1K DPS in compared to OP tree.
I only died 1 while leveling and got more AoE with your tree but when reaching level 90, I have decided to respect into OP tree for better over DPS cuz I do not level up any longer.

Just my 2 cents, You still can spec to Heart of Thunder but grab 1 extra jew slot bellow it and use Intuitive Leap then you can grab Arcane Focus and Blas Radius for 20% more ES and 20% more AoE damage which is pretty sexy and I prefer this option.
