Strengths and Weaknesses of the build


Strengths:

-Straight Damage Homie
-Effective for all content in game
-Crazy fun to play
-Can even pvp a bit!
-Can do all maps, although i prefer to stay away from phys reflect (did phys reflect 15% with abyssal cry, however)
-Daresso's Defiance really ties the room together, man.

Weaknesses:
-5.5k life + eva means if you don't play careful, you could expose yourself to a one shot mechanic.

Build mechanic introduction:

Defences:

Evasion and Dodge for days. The More the merrier.

Reflect Damage

Single reflect mobs and elemental reflect maps are safe. I'd advice to stay away from physical reflect maps. It can be done, but it is sketchy, you cannot do phys reflect + vulnerability, however phys alone is safe with abyssal cry.

Why the Assassin?


- Free power charge generation via Unstable Infusion.
- Deadly Infusion grants tons of crit chance and multiplier, making it much cheaper and easier to gear compared to other ascendancy classes.
- The assassin can effectively and reliably apply bleeds and poison, especially with how often blade flurry hits.

Damage setup:

- Blade Flurry, Faster Attacks, Melee Physical Damage, Inc. Area of Effect, added chaos damage (5-link) & Critical Hit Damage (6-link) <-- This is the link priority.

Conc effect instead of aoe on bosses, if you want to. i usually just keep aoe in there so i can play safer. The build has damage for days.

CWDT temp chains setup: ball lightning (9), curse on hit (20), temp chains (20), cwdt (6)


Defensive Utility Setup :

- Cast When Damage Taken (lvl 9), Immortal Call (lvl 11), Summon Ice Golem (lvl 11), & increased duration support (level 20)


Mobility & Utility:

- whirling blades, blood magic, faster attacks, fortify support

wither - spell totem support - faster casting

aura's/buffs
herald of ash - blood rage - grace
