[2.6] CRIT HoWA BF/ST Raider [13k ES, 60k BF/265k GMP ST DPS, Stun-immune] [4 sec Chayula kill]

Recently respeced to the crit version after having cleared all content in the game as EO. Against my better judgement I decided to pick up Skyforth (36ex investment at the time), which saved me a shit-ton of points from having to path to Unwavering Stance. This also gives me a free loop, allowing me to run CWDT-CoH-Conductivity with Ball Lightning as the triggered cancer-spreader in lieu of the PCoC setup.

Hideout DPS alone (just wrath + golem) is sitting at 102.5k, ES is slightly over 10000. While I did lose a substantial chunk of ES (~2k, mostly from boots), I gained about 60% more DPS over the EO version (at full charges ofc). Mana consumption is also much lower compared to EO (ICS in main link instead of FA) which lets me run Empower in the aura loop with no mana woes.

League is ending soon, so gonna focus on 40/40 as well as pushing to 100. Any suggestions on how I can better use my links? Some are leftovers from when I was EO (especially AP, which is now missing its FA link and has pretty shitty singletarget).

You could take out the Increased Duration link from your CwDT-IC setup, move your golem to that 3L, and link Faster Attacks or Culling Strike to your AP. I didn't find Increased Duration to be all that useful for Immortal Call personally but that's just me.

IMO the Ancestral Protector is mostly to boost your own attack speed, so it doesn't really need to be linked to be effective.

You could also grab a Vaal Discipline as an 'oh shit' button if you're caught in a situation where you can't leech - it happens rarely but it does happen, like if you get hit by Bonespires but all the enemies around you are dead.
All, I have transitioned my build from Invalesco's other great build (Frost Blades)- just to experience both builds.

Thus far, it clears like a champ, and I have killed Shaper with the build. However, it was a bit of a struggle (vs some other builds) and it feels like my top-end damage is lacking even with slower projectiles swapped in. Or I could be missing something here - and would appreciate your help.

Also, a few questions:

1. What do you think is the best all-around head enchant, for clearing and Shaper/Guardians. I was thinking of buying another Hubris Circlet with ST projectile speed just for bosses. But the idea of swapping helmets seems cumbersome.

2. I have 2 fertile mind jewels & 1 brute force jewel enabled. Would I be better off with +4 modifier jewels?

3. While my shaper gloves with lvl 11 elemental weakness are good for all-around no-hassle clearing, I suspect it could be sub-par against bosses. Would I have to potentially swap that out for bosses with an ordinary shaper's touch? and manually cast Elemental Weakness or Conductivity? Is there really a meaningful difference between the two curses?

4. What is the ideal Flask set-up for the Shaper fight?

5. What boot enchant is BIS for shaper? Would it be Damage penetrates 10%?

My hideout DPS:

with Slower Projectiles + Hatred = 166k
with Greater Multiple Projectiles + Hatred = 98.5k

I'm currently using Lightning golem (+helmet enchant for lightning golem) = if enabled

with Slower Projectiles + Hatred = 185k
with Greater Multiple Projectiles + Hatred = 109.5k

I suspect you are having issues with bosses because of the Dying Sun - unless you have Vinktar up at the same time (which is up only half as often) you are losing your 20% Lightning Pen from The Wise Oak. Also you aren't running a Diamond Flask - the natural Crit chance for this build isn't terribly high so you get a huge amount of damage from a Diamond Flask, it's something like 30% more damage. Try swapping out your Dying Sun for a Diamond and see how that works.

Thanks! I tried this and just have much better golem uptime in general. Put FA back in the 4L with my AP, although I might try some other utility skill in that socket too.

Anyone got ideas on how to deal with reflect? Trying to push 100 and it seems the major cause of deaths is oneshotting myself on rares.

1) Swap out Wrath for Herald of Thunder + Purity of Lightning to get higher max lightning res
2) Swap out a ring for Sibyl's Lament
3) Tweak your resists so lightning resists are the 'lowest' (can be tied with the other two ideally) to get that 10% reduced damage taken

Unfortunately there's no really good way to prevent true oneshots from reflects that don't reduce your max DPS somewhat, but in honesty I haven't found that there's much change in clear speed for normal mapping once you are past about 130k or so with charges up.

Otherwise the only thing you can do is make sure Vinktar is up and get a legacy Rumi's if you don't already, those will help mitigate reflect but is not 100% reliable since you can't always see the reflect rare to make sure the flask is up. I used to run Ele Weakness maps with the thought that Wise Oak is up 99% of the time so it was irrelevant, but I stopped after off-screen one shotting myself to reflect a couple of times on the way from 95 to 96 haha

Yeah I switched Wrath for Purity of Lightning and it seems to be good enough for regular mapping along with Vinktar's, I can hit 87% lightres which effectively halves the reflected damage I'm taking. Still manage to oneshot myself on Poorjoy's though.

Trying out a topaz flask with Alchemist prefix for a temp boost too but that might be overkill :D Maybe I'll get legacy Rumi's instead.

Just checked out your tree/gear - If you're really having such issues with reflect I would strongly recommend crafting ES% on your rings rather than the flat ES / flat lightning master crafts you have on there. The more ES you have the less likely you are to get one shot, after all.

Also, I'm surprised you are comfortable at such a high level without a Silver Flask (rather than Atziri's Promise) - while the latter does give more DPS and some leech, Silver gives on demand Onslaught = Phasing = Status Ailment immunity. With the setup you have now if you ever drop off of max Frenzies you are vulnerable to getting Frozen quite easily. In addition I think you also really really want curse immunity - it's incredibly easy to one shot yourself to reflect if you ever get cursed with Ele Weakness or Conductivity and hit a reflect mob.
Has anyone been able to clear Hall of Grandmasters with this build? I've tried a couple times but both times I got wrecked by Mull_Gubben...

Ya Mull Gubben is the ultimate block tank. Its pretty much impossible to kill him unless you replace GMP with the block reduction gem, and even then its still gonna be tough. I found it easier to just use scorching ray - that trivialises the fight because its degen and doesn't proc his block
