For leveling against packs, I propose Doomfletch Prism using Split arrow supported by Pierce, Weapon Elemental Damage and Faster attack for 4link (you can add in Slower Proj, Elemental Focus etc. if you got more links). GMP/LMP would slow down the pack clear a lot imo.

Single target, you can use Ice shot, Weapon Elemental Damage, Slower Projectile and Added Cold.

At end game, Hypothermia is best choice cause you will always chill with Pandemonius Amulet.

Hope this helps and keep on leveling, the fun ramps up when you hit tri-totems with extra arrows from quiver and Deadeye, cheers :)

Most people seem to just ignore the Ranged totem buff in 2.5 and I never like meta builds hahaha...

thanks i needed help with gemming as it was geting a bit stale when i went into cruel, its like you can whiz through cruel and merciless effortlessly if you have the right weapon.

Indeed. This build is very weapon reliant cause it scales on elemental damage and the majority of that can be found on weapon and a little bit from accessories.

On the bright side, doomfletch prism only about 3c now :)

Nice build (still leveling, but I like the playstyle even with just two popsicles yet).
Two questions:
- Where do you get your chaos resist? Can't see any on your equip.
- The Static Electricity in the slot directly at the Scion starting point doesn't profit from the +40 in the acendancy tree, right? Is it worth putting there, then?

Is there an alternative weapon for this build? I was looking into bows and Windripper caught my eye as a very interesting alternative. What is your opinion?

Also very glad people are liking this build! (not too many I hope so that items for the build do not become much more expensive :P)

Yup, with just 2 popsicle, you will be devastating most of the monsters in your way.

Chaos resist wasn't my focus as it was my first character for the league but you can easily get some from the accessories. There is also Atziri's Promise for some chaos resist when needed.

Placing a static at the lower scion start location gives slight more damage than a 40%+ damage rare jewel and it is much cheaper too. Also, it is already very hard to get flat elemental damage, any source helps :D

Should I bother getting the unique jewel or a rare? Or 2 and 2? Money isn't an issue.

Here's what I have so far, working on the 40% ice shot damage for the helm.


The jewels I have so far are:

Yup, you can definitely swap out of Nuro to use Windripper or Voltaxic as the tree is taking mostly totem and elemental nodes, you just need to remove cold nodes if you are going for Voltaxic.

You also need to swap out Ice Shot for Lightning Arrow if you are going for Voltaxic. Not too sure if Ice shot is the best for Windripper as I never testing it out, it might still work just a well with a slight drop in dps.

Haha, I ain't no big time streamer and this is such an un-meta build using RAT which very little builds use, Ice shot which only some use for single target or fire conversion builds and on a Scion which everything seems to think is trash tier class. What I see is the uniques needed for this build seem to be getting cheaper as the league is dying down.
