[2.5]"Solar Flare" Righteous Fire, Scorching Ray Cast When Channel Flame Surge Inquisitor

is there an alternative to Stone Golem here on a spare red socket?

I'm level 86 now, love the build, but Stone Golem feels lack luster and dies very very frequently without any assist gems for himself like life/res.

The life regen is fantastic and helps combat RF for me, around 80 life per second at level 14 in the gem (max I can get due to dexterity at the moment) but a soft breeze kills the little guy. Is it just part of your playstyle too constantly resummon it?

One option to consider at the expensive of one of your 5 jewel slots is one of the primordial jewels.

Primordial might is a good choice because it gives your golem slightly more life but also gives you a reward for re-summoning him in the form of 25-30% increased damage for you for 8 seconds.

Primordial Harmony will give your golem 2% life regen per second which means he will be gaining back some hefty life amounts. He will still die to bosses but this make make using him less annoying.'

The last option would be Primordial Eminence which gives him more armor to tank physical damage but also 30% increased buff effect which means more life regen for you.

Beyond these jewels the only other option would probably be to simply not use the golem and pick something else instead.

You can swap the golem with the purity of fire in your setup. This give the golem fortify and faster attacks.

Because I have no kaoms, I have enough sockets and use another high level CWDT+golem when opening breaches.

In theory that sounds fantastic, but is it worth giving up say %7 max health and another stat from a jewel for the purpose of buffing a stone golem? Would you do it? Have you done it? Or do you just accept resummoning him as a part of your play.

If you were to drop the golem from the setup what would be a good replacement gem in theory?

Last question, sorry for so many, but which gems are worth buying 20% quality as a priority?

Just get a ring with +50 dex and lvl your golem to 20-21. He will die only in breaches, bosses and maybe some chests.
Everything that gives you more damage - your RF setup, then your Flame surge and finally a curse. Everything else doesn't matter.
Nevermind I was being stupid.
Really like the build, ty for the guide :D

It really depends on what your build is lacking and what situations require. If you need to burst down an enemy and don't have enough money for a 3 damage mod jewel, Primodial Might jewel could definitely work. The Primordial Eminence could also really come in handy if you are struggling with regen in certain situations and don't want to turn off RF. I haven't personally used Primordial Harmony because I don't mind re-summoning him and find that he stays up most of the time besides breaches and bosses. I haven't tried this though and it might actually let him tank breaches with the life regen. I have used the Primordial Might and Eminence at times like tier 16 or other hard content.

Without the golem, you could make use of an Empower gem. You could also consider adding another aura somehow such as armor or vitality. Would require gear changes though.

Priority for 20 % gems:
1) Righteous fire
2) Cast when Channeling
3) Scorching ray (if you want more range for bosses etc)
Rest) whatever gives 0.5% to damage (differences dont matter too much)
Flame surge gem doesn't need to be upgraded as cast speed doesnt matter

Maybe i've missed it in the guide but is The Red Dream jewel the only way we generate Endurance charges?
Hey man, why not an essence of horror crafted helmet?
Great build idea!

You can also throw a enduring cry into an unset ring if you need it while you save cash for the red dream.

Another option is to put enduring cry into the CWDT lvl 1 slot and link CWDT lvl 11 to both immortal call and blade vortex. You will get less blades spinning thus less crits this way but elemental overload will still be up quite often.
