3.0 UPDATED] Raider Elemental Crit Spectral Throw - Shaper and t16 viable

Hey great build thus far! Enjoying currently haha. Which ascendacy should i go for first? I'm kinda lost

Just started my ranger with this and want to ask if other armor is doable. Kinsugi for instance or Cospri will the life reduction be too much for high end content. Has anyone else tried it?

You will be easily able to get really solid gear for 5 ex, the only part you will be missing is a 6l. For shaper and most guardians i would recommend investing into the 6l first, but all other content should easily be doable with this budget.

You will loose about 400 life switching belly to a other body with life or about 700 from switching to a no life (cospris e.g.) body. I dont really see where you would fit in multiple curses in this build so i dont see the reason for cospris, Kintsugi is a decent option but IMO it is pretty unreliable -- It will not provide any mitigation in breaches e.g.. It might still be a pretty decent option for guardians (e.g. minotaur), and while it will be inferior for normal mapping this is hardly a problem anyway... So yeah, its not that big of a deal, try it out, if it doesn work sell the kintsugi and buy a belly. I just went with belly because it is so nice allaround and easy to use with some allres, easily chromable and providing a rly solid life pool early on allrdy. Belly, coil and kintsugi will all do fine i think, matter of personal preference.

I would recommend frenzy charge generation (norm) --> avatar of veil(cruel+merc) --> +1 frenzy (uber).

I'm thinking about testing 2x opal rings with 30+ WED and flat light and move resistance to the helm slot, like 90+ life triple res lion pelt.

Have you thought about that? Would be pretty hard to get, but maybe to min max that could give the most dps for the build

How works frenzy charges? I don't see where they are activated.

For high end gear this is a pretty good suggestion, may even free up space for a flask duration suffix on the belt. I started out with rats nest and at some point swapped to starkonjas for the life and didnt want to loose all dps from helmet slot, but if you can get gg opal rings its propably the best to go for a rare helmet, yeah. (or get GGG rings/ammus/belt that just offer all at once, with real top end gear you wont need resists on helmet and can still get max dps from rings.)

Any place for Taste of Hate in this build? I have one on my other character and I'm leveling a Raider to try this build now.

Would this build work as Duelist ?
Would going acrobatics with Champion or Gladiator even make sense ?
