3.0 UPDATED] Raider Elemental Crit Spectral Throw - Shaper and t16 viable

Recently started this build and am absolutely loving it so far!

Level 86 right now and shitty gear. Think I'm gonna go LL when I get some more currency.

No helmet enchant on my Starkonjas though. I am close to 6.3k HP, so I could use a rats nest and still get OK health, but sure it is worth it.

Ive tried running with rats and starkonja, same time changing cwdt setup from lightning golem to enfeeble and so on, more defence or more offence. In the end i think that the build does enough damage w/o offensive curses/cwdt setups, so im leaning more to enfeeble and starkonja, especially when i wanted to push to 93 and maybe more. Got a bit over 6.5k at 93 now. After changing to enfeeble i didnt die at all in my leveling progress, tho i didnt do guardians at that time. Phoenix is easy if theres no bad mods, and one of the baddest i didnt think about was extra projectiles, when those birds start to gather around and they all shoot 4 projectiles at the same time, with bad luck that was it even with high health and some defense curses, ofc this didnt happen if i didnt try to facetank him all the fight :p

In my opinion, vinktar isn't really that good of a helmet, I use Rat's Nest w/ high rolls and it's doing me a solid. Same with the boots, I don't think you need ES boots. http://prntscr.com/dxl5vj those are mine. (i bought them for 10c..)

Now, for the Belly of the Beast.. It gives a lot of life and I was hunting for a 5-6l for a while now, but when I saw this: http://prntscr.com/dxl6e9 go up for 2ex... I had to buy it. Perfect colors and mods for me.

I am questioning buying gloves like yours, Maligaro's Virtuosity are great in DPS, but low in Evasion so it's a risk to take. But for me it was worth it.

What you are apparently completly neglecting is life :D Sure rats nest gives you more dmg, but it costs you like 300 life, sure maligaros give more dps but again cost you like 200+ life. Using both will leave you with a health pool that is more likely to be onehit and you can get enaugh dps with 1 or neither of them. The post right before you discusses dmg vs defenses for this build and says some smart things about it :)

Its overall all a matter of personal preference, if you feel like you are fine with 4500 life or with 5500 life and rather want max dps, sure, go for it. About the es boots, its totally not about the es, i just needed a couple blue sockets somewhere and since evasion is not really important for us i just went with es boots (especially since i wanted to corrupt some for +1 frenzy, so spending 100+ chromes each time i vaal some boots would have become expensive quickly.)

In your T16 video, I see that you ran Wrath + 2 Heralds, which left you with 80 mana to use. How is the game play feel like? Do you run out of mana often?

Its a bit annoying, which is why i changed it to the current gem setup (wrath and 1 herald, potentially with empower on wrath), and dropped charisma. Currently running 135 unreserved mana which feels smooth.

Anything is fine, try to get life and 2-3 dmg mods or 2 dmg mods and resists. What damage mods doesnt matter much, crit chance is not great, crit multi is pretty good, proj dmg, lightning dmg, ele dmg, dmg with one handed melee weapons, attack speed while holding a shield, etc etc etc all work fine. (Pierce doesnt exist on jewels btw, and we allrdy got 100% pierce chance anyway)

Hi guys, I have this issue that I own 2 ele weapons and they aren't rly worth much in currency, but still I think, they might be usefull to someone. With bench crit they should do the job to some point of game.
(also I swear, mothe%^rs grow bigger and bigger, every time I look at them :( )

Hi, thanks for your constant updates and replies to questions in this thread. Really a nice build (and guide)

By chance I got a 15% reduced Wrath Mana Reservation on my helmet. This gives me about 46 mana extra and actually makes running 3 auras more comfortable. The spectral throw enchant is probably better in the end, but it's another option.
