You have to avoid 'Add fire/cold damage to spell'mod.
It will break EE/Prolif mechanic.

I don't really understand this part.

I undertand the concept of avoiding Fire damage to spells if you don't want to increase the Fire resistance of targets when you use Ball Lightning with Elemental Equilibrium.

But why is Cold damage to spells a problem ?

What is the problem with the Proliferation Mechanic ?

Shattered enemy stop burning proliferation.
But maybe it's not big problem.
I guess this build can clear map speedy with cold damage mod.

I will update that part.

The Build looks great.
A few Things,

Why not use Leap Slam for mobility? You could use it with Fortify to get a bit of survivability with your movement too.

Or go the bow way (a 6s crude bow can be colored quite easily) and use Blink arrow. Using a Quiver might give some survivability.

After a quick look at your tree I think it might be a good idea to path from Foresight to Vaal pact instead of the way down from Nullification, you lose a total of 1% cast speed and some dex and attack speed, but gain 1% es and access to the True Strike cluster.

Staff have very low APS.
I feel Leap+Staff is too slow.
Maybe it's better with AS mod staff.

BBBBRR CrudeBow average cost is 1151chrom.(About 2EX)
I think it's not easy.
This build don't take many Increase damage node from Tree.
~115% Spell damage increase is important.

VP+Leech is very strong.
I feel SoulStrike's faster recharge start is not needed.
I think it's option for HC players.

Bow/SS is also viable, but i think Staff is better.

Harrier route : 11pt 1jewel 6%ES 20int 50dex 5%Cast/Movement speed
Fangs of the viper route : 10pt 1jewel 5%ES 10int 10str 60dex 6%Cast/5%Movement speed

It's not same point.
I think Fangs route is better.

Yes Leap slam setup would be Leap slam +faster attacks+ fortify.
It is often used in Whispering Ice builds.

Had a wrong calculation for the crude bow in mind. Yes that could be to expensive to use after all.
In a Level 100 Tree I would still go the Harrier route but as is Fangs seems fine.

Hmm,Indeed.
It seems better in Top tier boss fight.
I will add it in Gem section.
About the "added cold damage to spell" , you are right, it's damaging the build quite severely.
Truth is that I can still do endgame mapping with it, but it would be a lot more powerfull without it.

My current staff :

Spoiler

I am tempted to scour prefix so I would keep only :

25 % Fire Damage
95 % spell crit
lvl 20 fire burst

then add crafted Spell damage or I can even multi mod some shit...
This would be costly but well, what's the probability to get again fire damage and spell crit by using the essence ?

a mob dropped me
, was thinking about selling it or using it..

Do you think it could be worth to have both 2 curses on blasphemy and then using a real 6L ball lightning that deal real damage and proc fire burst ? Even if ball lightning will be impacted by EE, it can do some significant damage and help to deal with high resist fire mob or ignite immune bosses...

Orb of Storms is suprisingly good at triggering Fire Burst
Can use it to generate power charges if you want

so you can use another fire spell as your main if you want

very handy when opening a breach, it allows you run around a bit
And I use a decoy totem to take aggro off me

OoS is very nice spell.
OoS-PCoC is recommended to Guardian/Shaper.

-50%Fire resistance EE is extremely strong.
It boost initial damage, and generated ignite is also boosted.
I don't recommend to use another fire spell(Fire storm etc)

This build drop OoS constantly.
If you want to change BallLightning to DPS setting,I think OoS-CoH-Curses is better.
DPS setting BL need a lot of mana.
You should use mana reserve for Clarity.

Damage is pretty nuts! Sometimes i one-shot bosses on t13s+, with right conflux. The only problem i have atm is reflect, gotta keep ruby flask up pretty much all the time, especially in breaches when ele reflect rare can appear from nowhere xD
