Thanks for the reply. However, I may have not worded my comment correctly. It's not the damage against bosses I am concerned about. It is the survivability. It simply is way too low for my taste.

Which bosses are you struggling with? I'm having no survivability with this build (up to tier 13 maps). You should have a lot of dodge and spell dodge, with decent evasion. CWDT should help with burst phys. You have a lot of mobility, so you should have no problem dodging wind-up attacks. Immune to status ailments, etc.

liked this build, so made it.

im actually at level 85, mapping is pretty fast, can facetank nearly everything (5,1k life atm)
my gear should be "ok", sure it can always be better.

50k dps with 9 Frenzys atm.

The hard part is chaos damage and Bossfights. You have to skip some mapbosses ( Or you can try to kite around and hope for decent dodge rng )

Got oneshooted by a Beyond Boss ( Frost One ) in a t7 map and a few mapbosses ( if they hit :D )

People who are familiar with the Mapbosses should be fine.

Breaches are realy easy, didnt try the bosses myself for now.

Im missing one uberlab trial so im going for this asap.

Leveling is pretty easy ... get level 26, rush through the content.
On the Passiv tree i went first to the left picking all the scion life notes. after that went for frenzy charges and then for dmg/crit nodes.

Anyone got a nice totem setup ? i think this would make some bossfights so much easier.

I dont know if i need the aura nodes with alhpas howl. But i feel moore comfortable with a bit moore mana to use in scary situations.

Round a bout, funniest "melee" build i have done so far.

Yeah, this build was a great league starter. I made a lot of currency farming maps quickly (which I used to make an OP Hand of Wisdom and Action build).

Now I'm working on my hipster build quota of the league. Deadeye > Inferno CWC Magma Orb with Sire of Shards and Knockback.

As for totem setups, I used Ancient Protector for the 20% more attack speed. It's in a 3-link with WED and Faster Attacks.

Just getting into mid-maps now, so thought I'd share my thoughts.

Switched to a cheapish corrupted 6l from belly. Lack of ele pen was annoying me in the 5l.
I also switched to a more lightning damage based setup, and wanted to keep inc crit gem, so needed 3b2r1g - tricky in an evasion or eva/ar chest.
Accidently bought the wrong one at first, so got a spare!

So got

Lost about 400 life, but better evasion, and a 6l so decent compromise.

Running frostblades - multistrike - wed - added lightning - inc crit - light pen now.
I kind of liked a more cold damage focus (Also more consisten damage rolls), but I am doing more lightning damamge so this is more efficient.

Also fits my suicide weapon swap idea of using Hyaons - though experiments so far don't really pan out, not much more damage really to justify the danger, unless the sheet dps is lying?

Boss kills/tanky rares are a bit smoother with the pen set up. Kind of wish I was inquisitor so I could run more flat damage and attack speed.

OP - I see you have dropped inc crit, and don't run a diamond flask, don't you find crits a bit too inconsistent?

Been playing with lightning strike too. With the lightining setup, I think I mostly prefer it to be honest, on level, open tilesets at least. Might just swap in frostblades when necessary. Frostblades is still better for 360% targetting in breeches, but LS is better at killing what's in frost of you, and has much better single target.
Just remembered while typing this that it invalidates one of the mods on my nice quad dps jewel though.

Not sure why either, but seem to have less mana issues with it, occasionally going OOM with frost blades since going to a 6l.

Hardly had any time to play, but think I have a free evening, so will hopefully do rest of my labs, get into some higher maps and try and get a few gear improvements (few lucky drops yesterday! so have small amount of currency)

That seems like something fun. Got a build for that somewhere?

Have you got the Scion life wheel nodes? I do agree that there are times when I feel a little bit like a glass canon, but with whirling blades and life leach if I go "low" on life then it's get in a few hits and then whirl away twice and life regens back quickly. That said ... I'm lvl 72 and have less than 4k life so it's definitely easy to get one shot to something you don't expect.

Not yet, I'm still working it out. I ended up switching to Pathfinder because I misread one of the Deadeye ascendancys, which made me kinda sad. I wish that the more of the Deadeye stuff applied to all projectiles and not just projectile attacks.
Hey man, nice build! Did you already try inquisitor? If so, how do you get your frenzy charges up?
Do you guys go for projectile speed at all? I got this enchantment, and am trying to decide if anyone would use it, or if frost blade builds prefer the damage enchantment, and that I should just go reroll it in the lab.

I was running a LS claw Shadow as my second build on Breach and at level 26 went looking through my stash to see what I could use to twink, and I noticed I had parked a pair of Ewar's that I found on my first character, that I totally thought was just leveling gear.

But looking at the stats it intrigued me, so I did a little Google-fu and it lead me to this thread.

Not wanting to ditch the Shadow, I just modified your build to work with the different start, and spent about five regrets to put me back on course since I was already marching towards the Duelist area down the side.

So far it's been working great and death-free, 74 now. Really ramped up in power in the late 60s when I got Charisma and Wrath going, but didn't suck before then. My tooltip DPS at the moment is a bit lower than yours at the same level, but I'm running a 5L Lightning Coil and getting resistance capped meant some damage tradeoffs.

For ascendancy, I went with Assassin and Ambush, then grabbed Unstable Infusion. Since Unstable (10% chance of charge on non-crit hits) kept me well fed in power charges, I swapped out Assassin's Mark for Poachers Mark and I'm fed a steady diet of Frenzy and Power charges when clearing (and was finally able to go pure EV on that body armor slot). Still have Blood Rage for those more challenging moments, mostly for the leech and extra AS, but thinking about running it nearly full time for frenzy charges, and throwing Warlord's Mark in the CoH link for some extra tanking.

Little side note on jewels, the Static Electricity jewel doesn't just get boosted by the dex nodes, it gets boosted by all +Dexterity...so with it in the socket near Fervour, there's +130 dex in range, some of it in useful nodes like Lynx, Weapon Artistry and Acuity.

I'm on the fence with taking vaal pact. Losing life regen sucks against degens, but I'm also getting to the point where Ele Refect is starting to hurt.

I'm curious how you feel now. I'm running this and considering taking Vaal Pact.
