Since all trees but the PoB tree aren't updated yet I have to give you a Path of Building pastebin link.

This would be the tree I would use for Arc mines, you would probably need some strength on gear. You could maybe go MoM (then the whole tree would look completly different since you need to invest a lot of points in Mana) , depending on the Mana cost of Arc Mines, I personally hate MoM cause you are always out of mana the moment you need it the most (when you are hit by many mobs / by a boss).

For gems , you probably just need to use Lightning Pen instead of Fire Pen and Remote Mine instead of Elemental Focus since you wanna shock anyways.


Arc - Remote Mine - Minefield - Lightning Pen - Critical Strike Chance - Trap And Mine Damage

or you might consider using a tremor rod which isn't worth it for fire nova mines but might be worth for arc mines since it also provides a free link (remote mine is already included in that staff).
You would gimp you movement though, and won't be able to shield charge which is rough.

But additional mine detonation + 1 free link is huge. You'd then add Controlled destruction as a "7" Link and use leap slam only to get over obsticles and probably 2 really well rolled quicksilver flasks and 30% ms boots to mostly just walk fast.
