Yes pretty much. Everything with life and resist is good, doesn't really matter if it has armour/ES or EV, if you can choose , take Armour.

On Weapons crit chance for spells and crit multi is NOT important in the beginning. You want spell damage / ele damage to spells / % increased fire damage / cast speed.

You also want to try to get a vaal clarity as soon as possible, so do Vaal Side Areas and use your vaal orbs early on clarity-gems that you can just buy in act 1. Mana will be a problem and vaal clarity linked to increased duration helps out a ton.
