Noob question but is %spell damage better than # fire/ice/light damage added to spells?
The tooltip shows more damage when i use the #fire/ice/light added to spells but im not sure if thats true |

" The fire/ice/light damage added to spells will scale with increased in %spell damage. Let's said the spell will do 100 damage 1.If we have only 150% total increased in spell damage.We will have 150 damage. 2.If we have only added 50 fire damage to spell. We will have 150 damage. 3.If will have 50 fire damage added to spell and 150% total increased in spell damage(100+50)*1.5, we will have 225 damage. 4.If will have 200% total increased in spell damage and 50 fire damage added to spell,(100+50)*2, we will have 300 damage. So we need both high %increased in spell damage and flat spell damage to have high tooltip. I believe that you haven't reached 70lv yet (?) So you may have enough passive point for %increase in spell/area/mine damage to scale the flat damage, so you may have a high tooltip when using added fire/cold/lightning damage. I am not sure about the exact formula of calculating tooltip for FNM, but I believe this is a same idea. |

I gave this build a try since it looked like the only true "budget" build I could find after dumping all of my currency into a character and ripping the next hour.
Today I hit 85 and am plowing through maps. Awesome build through and through. My 1 tweak is using the Sorrow of the Divine Sulphur Flask, and getting Eldritch battery earlier (around level 65-70). This flask solved all my mana issues and allowed me to drop a mana flask right then. Otherwise Awesome build! It's raking in the currency for me and I'm definitely keeping it in my back pocket for future league starters. |

So this flasks let's you have zealot's oath while using it and gives you consecrated ground which equals 4% Life Reg ... pretty awesome. For all who don't know about that flask. " Unfortunately this flask is really , really bad. As soon as your mana is filled up by this flask the "no mana cost" effect is gone. And this flask fills up your mana really fast. So the effect of free casting is up for like 1-2 sec max. Not worth it. I used it myself and it took me some time until I found out how shitty this flask is. " It's funny that you mention it, I used this combo and showed it in the video. It is really good, but unfortunately not enough to solve the Mana issues. With the golem I had about 130 Life Regeneration , so 130 ES Regeneration. It's not bad but that only covers one cluster of mines per second. What do you think about Carcass Jack over the rare armor chest piece you have? I know you lose armor for Evasion, but I think the Area Damage and the overall boost to your damage is too good to pass up.
