Content Update 2.5.0 Patch Notes

I don't get it. Why won't you ever buff some non used skills? Half of the skill gems are useless for a long time now.
What would be the problem in buffing melee skills?
This is going on for years now and it is really frustrating.
I can't understand what goes on in your minds as developers.
Some people here seem to be confused. They complain that killing the two most streamlined builds that actually prevented build diversity (CoC Cospri and Flaskfinder) is bad because...no more build diversity? That just makes no sense.

Those were just copy pastes fotm builds you guys ripped off from some streamers. And btw I am pretty sure they are far from dead and people playing the economy game know it too. When I put my Cospri's up for sale today my chat was flooded with offers within seconds.

I mean I like taking inspiration from good builds too or even copying them, but I actually do research on the forums for that and there is such a wide variety of "Tier 2" builds out there, all of which can kill Shaper and Guardians. Just check those out. You might be surprised.

I welcome these nerfs. In order to create build diversity you need to balance up as well as down. I admit that I played a low life Assassin Blade Vortex build this last league and it was fun, but I'd rather go play another build for a new league rather than run the same one over and over and over again. People talk about these 2 or 3 builds can do all the content and they get nerfed but fail to see that there are a ton of builds that can do all that content as well. A certain streamer has done a bunch of builds, both budget and high-end, and has done all the content. Shaper and Uber Atziri included.

Rather than complain, try exploring new options or follow some guides on some older builds that you haven't tried.

Side note - The warchief totem nerf is as bad as you think, the totem nodes on the tree did get buffed......

Well didnt mind nerfs to Flaskfinder, BV and Cospri's.

But this has to be the worst patchnotes ever.
No buffs to old skills nobody uses, why?
Almost no exciting things with exception of totems and minions.
But mosters got buffed damage.

We must have done a ton of too much damage in the past and our defense must have also been way too good.

Hmm, I couldnt get a HC char over lvl 87 in the past league and it certainly aint going to be easier now.
I agree whith most of the balance changes but Mjölner agian? just change 40% wed to 20% more Lightining dmg and its ok.
Blight: reduce max stacks to 10 and double basedmg
Life vs es: Increase hp gein/ lvl up or buff life nodes in tree
A buff to Castspeed passives would be nice too.
also buff Scion Adcendancys or allow us to take 3 big ones instead of 2 + alternate start

remove elemtal reflect from maps you cant mitgiate it unless you use vaalpact or maxblock to spells.

And plz think about introducing new flask mods that refill fask on trigger or passiv becasue unless you go pathfinder or get surgeons flask and do actually crit you cant refill fask thats what most builds lack against bosses.

anyways iam hyped for Breach and will probably try some golemancer stuff just for the big buffs sake

im afraid just that wont be enough for Blight. i mean have you tried Blight?
its by far the worse skill in game, you neeed alot more for this skill than reduce its max stacks.
double its damage, increase abit its aoe and add healing effect or leech affect to the skill.
then maybe it will be worth playing :)
The only reason i play this game was Cospri discharge now they nerf this and GOOD BYE fucking GGG !!!!
