Additions and Improvements to Map Mods
So just to be sure with the Pathfinder ascendancy, do I go for Master Surgeon straight away or do I get Nature's Boon and Nature's Adrenaline, THEN get Master Surgeon with Master Alchemist for the Endgame Labyrinth?
Or do I skip Master Alchemist completely and get Veteran Bowyer for the 100% increased flask charges gained? "Let those with infinite free time pave the road with their corpses." - reboticon

Will be fun to play :D
" BV - melee spell, you know melee troubles i guess. Barrage Pathfinder kills everything from high range and can use any bonus pathfinder has. Who said that BV/Pathfinder even near best? damage maybe, comfort and survivability - dont think so. You can look on new meta: http://www.strawpoll.me/11725541/r Find so much good Blade Vortex skill. hardcore survivability: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VIWXD1dERSFSJ_WSJV3pZX-Haz8SwA9G7m7GGCCWQ_k/edit#gid=1982126135 Let's find pathfinder together in essence league. Good mortality, near worst. | |
Old versions of the "of Stasis" mod prevent Life and Mana Regeneration. New versions that are rolled will also prevent Energy Shield regeneration.
does that mean the recharge ? because u have life flasks, but no ES flask ... My Builds & Hideouts: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2083383

I think those map mods changes are a step in the right direction overall. Most of the new combinations will encourage a variety of players to rethink their approach of how to build their character adequately if they're inclined to tackle the added risk that starts to appear more frequently in red maps, which is a positive in my book. If I had to nitpick, pack size for mods that affect a player directly could use some numerical tweaking. For example, Elemental Equilibrium is nowhere near the penalty of 20% reduced block chance, and the difference between the two is a mere 2% pack size.

overall really liking this, but conflagration seems like a horrible choice...
all damage always ignites? this forces us to use an ignite flask and theres too many forced flask mechanics already =\ basically have to run anti freeze, bleed and ignite, so that leaves only two flasks to actually make a choice with. please reconsider that one. |

I like more variety in map mods even if they're not so great (ignite).
The reason for that is that currently mods too frequently get too much damage mods on them (haste, damage, AoE, bonus fire/lightning/cold damage) often creating quite nasty combinations. Maybe add a Perandus mod to it and/or prophesy for Perandus? Rogue exiles have a mod on maps, Beyond too, both even have prophesies for them but Perandus doesn't while a lot of players like Perandus too.
