are u foking kidding me. 100 damage becomes 450ish if I got the maths right. 1000 damage becomes 4500 ish. Thats just two wands with ele overload. Are you really sure that that occasional 1/10 hits is enough? Now imagine you have passives spell and ele damage passives. That tons of chaos damage, the best damage type in the game.

The wand is pretty interesting for incinerate. You get 40% of damage added as chaos and you can use orb of storms to keep the spell damage modifiers up for a total of 240% increased spell damage. That's actually really really strong if you can keep the buff going, and OOS + Inc AoE + Inc Crit + PCoC should do a great job of keeping it up. No projectile speed is bad though :/.

EE is a problem design-wise, and this wand replicates that problem.

GGG says they want to encourage builds to go some crit, but not all crit. But this doesn't do that. This further emphasizes going all-in on non-crit, and then having a single arbitrary skill(probably on a level 1 CWDT) that is irrelevant to the rest of the build to proc a disproportionate damage boost.

EE has the same problem, wants to encourage you to use multiple damage types but because of how it works, you just go more all-in on one type and have another that does nothing purely to proc the debuff.

This is a core issue they need to address before pushing out more uniques like this. Because they don't solve that problem, they exacerbate and put a magnifying class on it.

do u see guys that critical strikes deal no damage? it doesnt say no "additional" damage...
only non-crit strikes will do any damage
