You can divine the ring/ammy after you craft the ES on to get a better roll, and I think that tree is better in your case yes, it has a bit more ES and takes more efficient nodes IMO. You can get more resist on a crystal belt than the doryani's, though it isn't cheap.

It seems like scourge is better when you have really amazing gear but for now this outperforms it for me? Or is there more behind the scenes math im not taking into account in regards to that increased damage

You are using Increased Critical Damage Gem, which only increased crit multi, but not crit chance. Should put you at 85%-90% crit chance or somehting like that.

So i tested with this gear and another try was with binos + death hand and it killed xoph kinda faster

gearwise the main diffrence was the gem setup i think i didnt even use hatred aura just HoA and grace
6 link setup with binos was BF-Incaoe/conc-meleephys-chaosdmg-voidmani-critmulti

I guess its also easier to apply poison with daggers because of adlers touch note and chance to poison note.
Ofc the scourge gear isnt optimal but dmg wise it should be fine dunno.
