uses discipline and haste instead of hatred

-> the budget version is mainly chaos dmg so you dont get much from phys as extra dmg auras.

You basically got baited. His amount of dps is only possible with abyssus, near GGG gear that are only available in standard and basically every single skill point. Most of the dps is the due to the fact that he has near cap crit and huge crit multi. You should get a get a t1 Crit Multi roll on your amulet.

Kind of expensive build actually. Hard to get enough accuracy, resists and stun immunity at the same time. I don't know why lot of ppl just forget about stuns and go full damage mode (Abyssus inc.). Best example of glass canon build. Beside insane single target poison scalling this build is like 50% efficiency of HoWA.

Closest thing would be my Necromancer build. Easier to cap resistances but only around half the dps of the Assassin - which doesn't mean it's low by any means.
Occultist is actually sub par, Power charges don't outperform Spirit Offering buff and +105% to minion damage from ascendancy. What works for an Assassin, doesn't always work for a Witch.

Yes to delete shaper in a matter of seconds you will need the abyssus, but you wont need perfect gear, he doesnt have mirror gear, but pretty decent exalt worthy gear.

If you want to minmax you will eventually need to upgrade every piece , but besides his gloves there is nothing thats really too expensive endgame.

Your problem is, you are playing LL , which is not recommended. LL is to squishy because Shavs has too low es% and your legacy shavs has a badroll + no quality <.< which kinda hurts man. On top of that you cant use Melee dmg on full life , which is again a MORE multiplyer to your dmg . I found in average using an Abyssus even without top gear and without conc effect should put you around 8-10k average with conc ofcourse a lot more .

The crit multi is also very important.

Hitchance = 0.93
Crit chance= 0.95
Real crit chance= 0.8835

RCC x Your crit multi = Effective dmg multiplier.
For example:
Abyssus with 225% multi would give me an effective 198.7% dmg multiplier.
T1 38% crit multi would give me 33% effective dmg multiplier .


-> Then the flask charges and you are easily at 50-80k average

Ofocurse he used everything in one moment:
-Blood Rage/ Haste / prob. 5 dmg flasks + totem + auras and that can put you to his average .

with the 2.6 version the dmg is higher but tooltip lower because it focuses more on Chaos dmg which double dips into poison and does more DoT and with that does more overall Dmg.
