Considering going straight CI early game is suicide most of the time I would do something like this. It will not apply to your character's attack skill (BF) because it doesn't have the MINION tag on it. Even if it magically did apply, it still would not work because the Scourge claws explicitly state "Increases and reductions to Minion Damage also affects you" (not MORE multipliers). If want to use a shield, then you can use a shield. However, you will lose some damage. If you mean if it will have the same damage, then no. Shadow Assassin at this time is the most optimal class and will yield the most damage due critical chance/multiplier/poison/bleed (and double dipping effects from scourge claws). Can you make inquisitor work? Yes, but it will do less damage.
