(Jan 29) Server reboot + small shader cache update
There was a 70mb patch which updated the shader cache. As we've mentioned in the past, sometimes a patch to that gets dragged into our server restarts, so I am just posting to confirm that no game content changed.

these shader cache updates get me wondering, theres been so many, i'm curious of the amount of bandwidth consumed by all the shader cache updates thus far.
then i start to wonder, if maybe theres a way to build these caches client-side, at a cost of maybe a 3MB download and a minute or two of data manipulation client-side. waiting for OP to deliver.

Any information on what we keep a special eye now? Or nothing to notice along the update?

I'm afraid I won't be able to participate to the ladder rush because of this. I'm too slow to patch...

It wents really fast until a while here (up to ~20% with max. 20k/sec, then not long later - just finished...
but I cant participate because of time, had to work tomorrow morning :-/ invited by timer @ 10.12.2011
